Excellent. No bike is perfect but this one is the best bike I have ever owned and raced in over 30yrs of bikes, including loads of Honda's.

Re the forks, if I am fresh the forks are awesome: the faster I enter huge braking bumps the more amazing they get---but once I am tired or slack off, the more they beat me up on those same bumps.

Fwiw, I can revalve my own susp but have had great results only by raising springs to .49 and dropping the outer oil to the minimum. I am 6'2",190lb, top-5 vet mx.

Setting your sag is extremely crucial on this bike, will make it climb out of ruts midturn, and toss you off of cupped-out jump-lips if not positively right. If it does not corner every bit as well as a 3rd Gen CR250, it is not set up right. The CR will feel lighter but otherwise the same, in a corner (I have both).

Bike likes to ride 'level'.

4mm makes a world of diff.

I also like the HSC all the way in on almost every track I ride on.

An amazing, do-it-all bike. No wonder China tried to make a 'clone'.

Handling- 4, overall it behaves  but it has a vague feel at corner entrance. Once in the corner and settled its quite good and will almost autopilot from center out but like I said corner entrance is a bit sketchy.

Suspension-3, the shock is not bad but its certainly not great. It tends to spike on square edges and it will blow through travel on corner exit. The forks have issues. Extreme mid stroke harshness made worse by springs that are too light.

Motor-4, Motor is quite good. The gear selected mapping in 1st through 3rd smoothed out the bark from 07' making throttle control  more manageable. Strong midrange and a healthy overrev.

ergos-4, typical Honda goodness here

Reliability-3, If your at all fast you will eat intake valves. Ther is little excuse for this problem mr. Honda

conclusion- This is a good bike with a couple of serious issues, most notably forks and intake valves. Have the suspension revalved and get Berillyum copper intake valve seats installed and the bike is a 4 star ride. In the end the only thing keeping it from a higher rating is the hunt and peck at turn in. BTW the 07 triple clamp offset will give you a more balanced overall package.
