Vehicle Details

From what im reading, it sounds like this bike for this year had some troubling issues. If one were in the market for this year, they might want to investigate other brands....

This bike is not a good bike and needs some correction. My valves were always jumping out of spec, my engine blew up frequently, and the transmission was not smooth shifting. Service was always done on proper intervals too. Took it to my certified mechanic and he told me to just ditch the bike all along. It had good power but the things like the kick start rubbing a spot on the exhaust pipe were annoying. It ended up wearing a hole into it also. The cylinder heads for these bikes are not good either. Got new valves and cams and the head still failed after a few weeks of trail riding. So my advice is to stay away from this bike. Very poor designs that could be fixed if kawasaki cared. Now have a 2011 crf450r and absolutely no issues at all and much better design.

Dirt Voyager

This Kawasaki was my first dirtbike of choice and I am not disappointed one bit. It has the monster energy skin package with a few extra aftermarket parts for more creature comfort. I actually joined Thumper talk to find out what parts are aftermarket and what is not; the struts that are on the front are some sort of air or gas struts but that's not my problem. I have no clue how to adjust them or if I need to add more "gas" to the struts because they have a button on the top[ that I can clearly hear lets out pressure. I have never fully just opened up because as of the moment I have never left my driveway, all I can say is that I can't even make it to third gear without reaching one of the ends of my driveway and it's kinda lengthy.
