I desmogged it. Adjusted TPS 16th of an inch counterclockwise at the tightening screw after playing with it. Took end cap off of exhaust and used dremmel tool to grind welded screen off. Took spot weld off of inside screen and removed so I can put it back on if I need to. Looks great. Still quiet until you are getting on it hard...then mean. (Crazy to buy another exhaust) No flame outs, starts perfect, never hot...more power than I could ever use in the woods without getting killed. Changed front sprocket to a 13 tooth( KTM because the thickness holds oil seal in place) use same chain/cheap fix/$20. now first is great for tight stuff and second will always explode by giving it some gas and dumping clutch.  Hang on by the way...Lifted bike in rear, adjusted spring to 1/2 inch tighter than loose. If that is too soft adjust compression to sport. Now both feet on ground. I'm 5'9 and 170. Doesn't bottom out, stays in the track without kicking out to the side. I'm not a big jumper. Rides like a dream. Adjusted front compression to sport cause it was too soft in crossing creek beds and logs and the like. Removed pressure piece from inside of gas cap so it opens easy.  Hydraulic clutch WOW . Brembo brakes WOW. Electric start WOW. Dual sport that cannot be matched for on and off road. Sips gas like a grandma sipping tea if you're just dual sporting. Got mine in central KY for $9350 out the door. Try and beat that for what this bike will do for you. Worth every single cent. ($150/month) I'm 52 and it feels like it's my birthday every time I look at it. Sometimes I just cruise my hilly wooded farm cause it runs so sweet, so easy. I love my KLR for anything still resembling a road, but pick it up off the ground when it's laying downhill... If you want to really get way out there or ride hills you couldn't climb on your hands and knees, cross creek beds without stopping, ride some MX , simply feel absolute brute power in the woods..do some adventure riding out west... and then take the highway home, get the KTM 500 EXC. It will never get better than this.

Awesome - Basically a street legal dirt bike in CA. KTM pulled off a miracle to get this bike approved by California EPA.
