Got this puppy for $1000 and my ol' 1996 KX125.

I've only had it for a month or so now, never gave me any problems yet so I'm super happy with it. It was super weird getting off a 125 and hopping on a big ol' 450, and I gotta say I love it!!

She's fully stock other than plastics.

Iv always been a Honda guy Iv rode everything from 50's to 85 big wheels to the crf150(f&r models). Rode a 2006 crf250 as my first bike bike and still have it today with a 5000$ high compression pro circuit motor and aftermarket 6 speed tranny. Bought the 450 in February of 2014 simply because I needed more power for what I was doing, however this year Honda does have the least amount of power out of the 450's which in a way allows me to be more consistent with speed and all around handling as I can really hammer the throttle without being ripped off the back of the bike, don't get me wrong. It's still a 450 and had plenty of power stock. My favorite thing about the bike is I absolutely Love the geometry of these years as I feel it's super easy to handle while still retaining a good planted feeling in high speed flat turns, being that this year 450 was the smallest out of all the other bikes I have no problem moving it where I need to go. Bike has a fmf snap "powernow vavle" and fmf stainless steel mega bomb header with dual factory 4.1 mufflers "carbon fiber tips" after doing the exhaust and intake I took the bike in and had it tuned and mapped by a gentleman who used to work for fmf and pro circuit . Rev limiter is now set to around 14,260rpm thanks to the aftermarket computer system. Stock motor is still running strong as ever with 147.8 hours on it. Have 14-48 gearing with iron man steel sprockets and o ring chain, I ride open desert most of the time for free riding as well as 200 mile competition loops so I like the taller gearing. Works connection radiator guards with aftermarket Fluidyne radiators and Cv4 cap. Hammerhead brake and shift levers. Wheels are equipped with 4mm Michelin tubes(awesome) tusk oversized brake rotors and pro circuit EBC brake pads. uni air filter with k&n oil filters running makima petroleum based 10w-40 motor oil and 85 weight maxima clutch oil. Stock wheels Cause that shits expensive lol. Stock suspension for the most part. now I know a lot of people don't much care for the air fork on these bikes but I'm a huge fan. After charging the shocks with nitrogen and getting rid of just the standard air along with some re valving and shimming for me being heavy and tall and some minor fine tuning on the air pressure and clickers, she eats everything up and high or low speeds but is still plush enough to be comfortable and retains grippy feel on fast flat turns or even jumping and hitting a track, she rides up in the stroke just perfect. Not too high and not too low. Top speed is 117mph clocked by my local sheriff who lives next door, now even though my gearing is high the bike still has amazing bottom end torque and at slow speeds and doesn't seem to want to stall or die his oils be due to the 15oz over flywheel we had installed to help the motor stay rolling at slower speeds and keep the torque on the bottom end pulling even when lugging it all the way through fifth gear. It's never puked antifreeze when riding down a slow rocky wash from getting hot moving slow and clutching for hours at a time. Can even let her sit at an idle for ever and will not get and red hot pipe treatment. Now please Keep in mind I'm 6''3" tall and 250 lb, bike has a 2" bar rise with rental fatbars "cr high bend" so I can actually stand while riding without being crunched over all the time, Also has an IMS 3.2 gallon desert tank for the 200 mile MVDS desert races so I don't need alt fuel. Now i imagine if you put a lighter rider on it the top end speed may be a little faster. But it's plenty fast for what I need to do with it. I have yet to find something about the bike and the build that I do not like. Aside from having nearly 4k$ in upgrades and still owning 4200$ before it's payed off it's been a great bike. And has never so much as hiccuped when racing or just out playing around.

My new whip... along with a few pictures from the Spring creek MX track in Millville Minnesota. I live only one hour away and raced there all summer in the District 23 amateur series, that track has it all and this bike (with a few mods) will take anything it'll throw at you, in stride.
