  1. I getting to the point where I need to replace the crank in my ‘89 Cr250. I cannot find one for that year. Are there any that will work? I saw something about a 92-01 crank but didn’t go into details.
  2. Looks like a lot of new stuff on the GASGAS, I wonder how heavy it is though.
  3. Hi guys, I have a cr 125 that I think needs to be re-sleeved?? I'll post pics below. I asked at my local Honda shop over the phone and they quoted me $200 for the new sleeve and $250 for the labour involved but I can buy the sleeve online for around $180 and was wondering if I can install it my self??? Possibly by heating the cylinder until the old sleeve falls out and the heating it again and freezing the new sleeve and it might just fall in place??? Has anyone done this?? Can I just hone the cylinder?
  4. A good read about the effects of his past concussions and other things going on in his life since MX and his new effort in Enduros.. http://motocrossactionmag.com/home-page/interview-of-the-week-broc-hepler Bubba should read this .. I'm sure he has had twice as many concussions and should have quit MX Long ago..
  5. I recently bought a 1999 gasgas 250 and I want to make have 2005 plastics what will I need to buy for it
  6. We can’t find anywhere to get a 18 xc 300 CDI, does anyone know a store or a online buisness where we can get one? We have looked and most of them are available in other countries but we would rather get them in the US, any help would be appreciated

I absolutely love my 300 ex it’s amazingly stable, versatile and capable. I went from a 230 four stroke so it was a big step but the 300 honestly feels safer even with over twice the power, the goemetry is typical gas gas(ktm) and it rides like a dream on the AER suspension, the brembo hydraulics all around also make it extremely easy to stop and to clutch(never more then one finger to stop or clutch) and the power is just unbelievable I can wheelie any gear no clutch and it also has great lugging capabilities I can go to hardly moving and when I feather the clutch it’s like it’s at stand still, all around the bike is a 10/10 and I wouldn’t want any other bike.

  10. Here's a air filter "how to" post race maintenance video on our ktm 250 2 stroke, it was definitely time to clean it out and put a fresh one back in, especially after a 2+ hour Enduro envent. We will show you how we clean and oil up our dirt bike air filters with a few tips and tricks. IMPORTANT, EASY and QUICK!! https://youtu.be/E6yGp_j_w7A
  11. hey guys, New to 2 stroke maintenance and took off pipe to have a quick look at piston. No HUGE scoring maybe a slight line or two but also looks like it could be from oil and me kicking it over as I’m watching it. I can still see cross hatching on other side of the cylinder. I’ll attach a YouTube video of the stroke of the piston below here. no idea how many hours on this piston as I got it used and buddy guessed around 15-25. Anyways hopefully somebody can shed light on if I should do a top end. Thanks
  12. I know there’s already been a million debates on this but I want to know about the Austrian bikes, mostly ktm and husky. Are they reliable or not? Are there certain model years to stay away from? I’m specifically asking about 4 strokes

  14. Is it too picky to ask a dealer when you’re buying a brand new bike to give you one that’s fresh out of the crate instead of the showroom model? Asking since my buddy will be buying a brand new Yamaha YZ450F and is worried about buying the showroom model since the last showroom model he bought had a bent radiator, bent rim, and a cracked subframe and air box. Luckily he discovered all this before riding it and after getting home. The dealer did end up fixing and replacing all those but it took awhile to get all the parts. (Bike was a 2013 KTM 450 XC-F)
  15. I am on the hunt for a new bike this season, but I have been riding blue for 17 years. As I look, I see some very convincing stats that have pushed me towards buying a KTM 250SX, or maybe even a Beta 300. This begs the question, how many of you have done the same and did you regret it? I only ride MX and don't do any woods at this time for reference.
  16. Hey guys i swamped my 2007 wr450f. Bad. The bike fell onto its left side and covered most of the seat, when i went to hurry and pick it up, my dumbass pulled the clutch and throttle so it wouldnt die. It hydro locked and was able to break it free after an hour. Kicked it slowly over and over and over without the ignition on so it wouldnt fire over. I was able to start it 5 hours later when i pushed my self home. Took the filter out and drove it into the garage. Yes i drove it the garage. Oil was MILKY AF. I started working 12 hour days so i didnt tend to the oil problem. I filled it up with as much oil as i could. And drained it twice a day for 4 days when i got off work. All the water is out now. The bike now will only stay running with the choke on. And bogs out when i take it off or pull the throttle. I air sprayed all connections, took the sparkplug out, saw a lot of dirt in there, blew most of it out. Looked through the carb, can notice a little bit of rust. Not bad. Bike has compression, when the choke is on and bikes running, the lights go bright so i know the stator isnt &%$#@!ed. The computer and the wiring were all submerged, dirt in those connections. Any info or anyone with simuliar issues that can help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Trials is one of motorcyclings most challenging categories, but it's also one of the most rewarding. Gas gas's 2014 TXT 280 Racing features a 272cc engine and a 147 pound dry weight to help you splatter, zap, and double-blip your way over any obstacle in your path. The average trials bike features a low seat height, wide handlebar, and gummy tires, and the TXT 280 Racing is no exception. And while you may spot the pros doing unbelievable things aboard this GAS GAS, keep in mind that the TXT 280 Racing can also be a valuable cross-training and learning tool to help you hone your moto or off-road riding skills.
