Bought it in August 2018 with a fair amount of enduro parts already on it. Love the bike it is perfect for the tight woods up here
  4. Hello all, This spring I bought a new '16 wr250f, I absolutely love the bike. Funnest dirtbike I've had yet. The one thing I've been noticing is that I'm having some discomfort, specifically when standing up in the "attack position", I feel like I'm a little too hunched over due to my height. I'm 6'4 and 205lbs. After doing some research I purchased some renthal rc high handlebars.... Idiotic me made the mistake of purchasing them in 7/8 size to save money... I learned today while attempting to install my new bars that the WR250F comes stock with "fat bars". So my new handles bars did not bit. After comparing the two sets of bars it didn't look like I was going to gain much height with the new bars anyway. Has anyone else swapped bars on this generation of the WR250F of done over modifications to help with comfort for tall riders?
  5. Hey all show your handlebar set up along with your brush guards or bark busters. Please add brand of bars and guards. Thinking about getting Pro Taper Contour cr high in black or silver or platinum along with Acerbis X factors. In white and red or red with white. See confusing huh? Well for me anyway. Lol thanks all

Very light and nimble, great ergos, inspires confidence and makes you want to ride every day. The versatility of the bike is almost unbelievable considering it's only a 150. It has great low end grunt, a midrange that is all about maintaining traction, and a top end that will shock your buddies on bigger bikes. It can be ridden off the pipe with great effectiveness (especially helpful on those slippery days) or it can be ridden like a rocket on the pipe. It resists stalling as well as any bike I've ever owned...and I've owned a LOT! I get 3.5 hours of moderately hard riding per tank of fuel, so the range is among the best in the business. Now the bad news. As delivered the bike does have a couple of serious flaws, but they are easily fixed. The stock reed cage is junk. Replace it immediately with a V-force or Boyesen and you'll never have another worry. The progressive stock power valve spring is not well liked, and most guys replace it with the alternate straight-rate yellow spring. Some even prefer the red spring (from the 250/300's). Once you address the above items (and I recommend doing both before moving on to the next issue) you will still find that the jetting is horribly rich. This MUST be corrected early or you will be buying lots of spark plugs. Don't worry, the Mikuni is a great carb, it just needs to be jetted correctly. Once done you will be rewarded with phenomenal performance.

ThumperTalk Tested! The FUZION handlebar is a new concept in high performance control systems. The revolutionary flex locking system allows riders to choose between a stiffer, more controlled handlebar feel or a softer more shock absorbing feel depending on terrain conditions. Changing the bar from “Locked” to “Unlocked” takes only seconds. The bar itself utilizes ProTaper’s exclusive aluminum alloy computer profiled in a 4mm wall design for the ultimate in lightweight strength. • “Unlocked” function allows the cross bar to telescope and flex like a normal ProTaper handlebar • “Locked” function connects the crossbar creating solid, definite feedback to the rider • Knurled clutch side offers better hand grip adhesion • 1/4” bar width cut guides ensures precise modification • Plastic bar end plugs keep out the elements and provides a better base for grip ends • 1/4” cut guides for precise width modification • Weighs only 975 grams

GENERAL INFORMATION Handlebar setup is critical to the comfort and confidence we all desire from our machines. They bind us to our bikes and when set in just the right position, make the ride as comfortable as our home sofas. Move those bars a few millimeters fore or aft, or change the bend a few degrees and you lose that comfort and just don’t feel at home anymore. TECHINICAL FEATURES Constructed from aerospace grade aluminum. Available in nine bends, in both 7/8” and 1-1/8” bar sizes. Can be ordered with bar pad color of your choice (ten color options).

    Easton EXP EA70 Taperwall M 109 36

    4 reviews

SPECIFICATIONS Easton revolutionized the handlebar world in 1990 with the introduction of the 1 1/8” Taperwall handlebar which used our proprietary EA70 aluminum. The recipe for this ground breaking material was derived in our laboratories and twenty years later, Easton is the only handlebar maker with access to this remarkable premium blend of aluminum. EA70 is quite special in that even though it is a very high strength alloy, the ride quality does not suffer. EA70 is ideal for alloy handlebars because the average stress that is applied through all types of riding is far below the material’s relatively high yield strength. Additionally, its ability to absorb higher impact loads means it can withstand substantial loads without bending. EA70 is just one example of why our expertise in design, material fabrication, and thermal treatment remains unmatched in the industry. Prior to the Easton TaperWall handlebar, motorcycle bars were all made with the same, straight wall design. Since creating the process, Easton has developed and refined the cold-working of aluminum tubing that sets the standard in the industry. Our exclusive computer-engineered process allows us to create multiple tapers in the same tube, so the tube walls can be reinforced anywhere along their length with incredible precision. The result is jeweler-smooth walls that eliminate the stress points typical of other manufacturer's tubing. The unprecedented control of Easton TaperWall technology allows each tube to be precision engineered for its specific application. The resulting ultra-smooth wall transitions create multiple reinforced wall zones - effectively gusseting tubes on the inside. What this does is transfer energy down the length of the bar so shock is dampened more effectively without compromising strength. For over eighty five years Easton has been the leader in designing and engineering high performance products for some of the world’s most demanding sports. Our engineering has been proven in the AMA, NHL, MLB, and the Tour de France. Easton’s engineers have always understood a single rule - function follows form. This rule applies to the EXP handlebar system. Just as the 1 1/8” aluminum handlebar answered the needs of a sport that had evolved dramatically over the previous decade, Easton’s EXP System introduces a new phase in performance driven technology. After countless hours of lab testing, Easton engineers found that the new 35mm (1 3/8”) handlebar offered the optimum balance of ride quality, weight and strength of all the sizes they tested; from the previous standard 7/8” bar, all the way up to a 1 1/2” bar. True to its function it just looks “right” too. Easton pioneered the concept of Intelligent Flex whereby durability is designed into the product without adding excess material or weight. Intelligent Flex is key to the EXP’s proven level of high performance comfort. The handlebars stay stiff and rigid to help maintain control through the fast whoop sections and rutted turns while offering enhanced damping qualities.

Very like the ease to innitiate to this bike. Good suspension setup, nice handling but a little lack in power. I upgrade it throught the years with this : Suspension : Stiffer .46kg/mm Factory Connection fork springs, Factory Connection lowering link, thicker FF5 Factory Connection oil in the HSSD. So the bike is now more stable without sacrifying is handling Engine : C4MX ported cylinder head, Pro Circuit camshaft and complete valvetrain, Yoshimura RS4 full exhaust, Moto Tassinari Air4orce, TUF 43mm Throttle body insert, EBC HD clutch spring, Twin air filters, PC racing Pro seal, removed backfire screen with a remaped ECM by Eddie Sisneros. I have now a better response, strong power everywhere with a lot of overrev. Control : Renthal twinwall handlebar, Zeta rubber killer, Zeta fold back lever, Motion pro revolver throttle system, Motion pro grips, Tusk footpegs. Drive : DID VT2 Xring chain, Supersprox stealth 48 teeth rear sprocket, Supersprox 13 teeth front sprocket, Zeta axle blocs. Body : Custom plastics mix, Custom graphic kit, Factory FX B4 seat cover, Cycra full armor skid plate, Work connection Holeshot device, Work connection Radiators braces, Black rims, Red anodized look hubs, Michelin tire, Moose spokes set, Zeta, breather, clips, plugs, washer and cap.
