  1. Hey all show your handlebar set up along with your brush guards or bark busters. Please add brand of bars and guards. Thinking about getting Pro Taper Contour cr high in black or silver or platinum along with Acerbis X factors. In white and red or red with white. See confusing huh? Well for me anyway. Lol thanks all
  2. Hello all, This spring I bought a new '16 wr250f, I absolutely love the bike. Funnest dirtbike I've had yet. The one thing I've been noticing is that I'm having some discomfort, specifically when standing up in the "attack position", I feel like I'm a little too hunched over due to my height. I'm 6'4 and 205lbs. After doing some research I purchased some renthal rc high handlebars.... Idiotic me made the mistake of purchasing them in 7/8 size to save money... I learned today while attempting to install my new bars that the WR250F comes stock with "fat bars". So my new handles bars did not bit. After comparing the two sets of bars it didn't look like I was going to gain much height with the new bars anyway. Has anyone else swapped bars on this generation of the WR250F of done over modifications to help with comfort for tall riders?

2007 DRZ 400 S that I bought in 2018 with about 5,500 miles on it, it now has about 11,600 on the clock. It's been an awesome bike for dual sport riding in Colorado, ranging from after work rides west of Denver to having completed nearly the entire Colorado BDR in 2020. I've done lots to it to set up as a mini adventure bike so that I can strap camping gear on board on go on multi-day trips. I'm contemplating whether I want to get into more serious performance mods now, like a full exhaust system, jetting, etc, vs the stock set up that it has now. I kept it stock to improve reliability on long trips but I'm getting the itch to open it up.

Motor was fit into a 2005 KX125 chassis. The ultimate woods bike... well... for its time at least! Bike is an absolute blast and super nimble. The KDX motor is like a tractor and does awesome in the tight and technical stuff. Cylinder porting, head machining, a 38mm Lectron, and FMF rev pipe lets it actually rev out, before that it had a noticeable point where it felt like it died up top. The KYB MX suspension valved for the woods works great for me. I think the only thing stopping this bike from being the perfect bike is e-start...but at least it starts super easily. The build was a blast, I would recommend to anyone considering building one, www.KDXrider.net for tons of info how to do it!

The Phoenix 118 handlebar will take you and your dirt bike anywhere your heart desires. Whether you are carving through the trees, racing moto’s at your local track, or enjoying trails with your family, we have the setup to make your day of riding even more fun. CLAMP AREA (1-1/8”) The oversized clamp area is 1-1/8”(28.6mm) to allow for a tapered design that creates strength while eliminating the crossbar clamp to allow added flexibility. What that means is your arms take a little less punishment and your day of riding goes on a little longer. WIDTH (800mm) Laser-etched cut-lines on the ends of the bars help for those that are dodging tight trees and need to shave off metal. Or maybe you simply feel the 800mm (31.5”) width feels too wide. Measure twice, cut once, install grips, go ride. SWEEP (55mm/12°) Keeping your elbows up is critical to control your bike. All of our bars have a 55mm/12° sweep that helps put you in that proper position. HEIGHT Four different rises allow for an easier choice in finding the right bar for your motorcycle. It is not a hard and fast rule that your height means you need a particular rise. It’s a personal preference for those that want a shorter bar or one that is quite a bit taller. We are here to assist in finding the right bar height. options: 70mm - 80mm - 90mm - 100mm

My friend from Finland actually found this in local Craigslist! So, as an investment, I went right after it before the hillclimbers got to it. It’s an awesome bike in great shape, relatively low hours and mostly original. I installed a new seat cover and tires then picked up a janky pair of shrouds to save the originals. It has been bored however, but man, this thing is an animal....even my buddy says it runs way better than his CR500 he’s owned since new. Honestly, I don’t want to sell it now!

Bought this puppy back in late 2020 from the original owner, god knows how much he rode it because this thing was clapped. Broken power valve assembly, cracks being held together by JB weld down the engine cases, tore up warn out seat cover and plastics, you name it. But hey! at least he gave me new grips with it haha. There are some design flaws with it that dont make it a perfect bike, such as the entire power valve design is a bit bu1t as$ backwards. I raced it for awhile and for a bit she was actually my main bike, that stopped when I got a 2003 YZ125 that later was nothing but problems so I parted that out. I've had somebody do top and bottom end, I polished everything super nice and shiny, repainted the frame, painted the wheels black, every bearing was done, new really sweet suspension set for SX, and decided to make it look like a 1997 RC replica! I've probably put around 4-5K into her but she's a fine peace of history and is now sitting on the stand in my room watching me write this haha!

GENERAL INFORMATION Handlebar setup is critical to the comfort and confidence we all desire from our machines. They bind us to our bikes and when set in just the right position, make the ride as comfortable as our home sofas. Move those bars a few millimeters fore or aft, or change the bend a few degrees and you lose that comfort and just don’t feel at home anymore. TECHINICAL FEATURES Constructed from aerospace grade aluminum. Available in nine bends, in both 7/8” and 1-1/8” bar sizes. Can be ordered with bar pad color of your choice (ten color options).

Renthal employs extremely close tolerances and an exclusive alloy, specifically developed for the manufacture of handlebars with specific properties that help limit vibration (a common cause of rider fatigue). Combined with the patented clamps and brace system Renthal 7/8” bars provide riders with the perfect amount of flex whilst maintaining the strength required for the rigours of Motocross and Supercross. The clamp system is bonded to the bar using a high shear adhesive to minimize the chance of clamp movement.

The EVO Bar is the evolution of all the best features of the original Pro Taper and Contour models. The Pro Taper EVO handlebar employs the latest bend of proprietary alloys and processing techniques in manufaturing. The EVO model utilizes a computer 4mm wall design, thus making the handlebar lighter and giving it a more sensitive feel. The EVO is based on the same platform as our original Pro Taper bar but we have added some great improvements All EVO handlebars are manufatured to more exact rise and pullback specifications and tolerances to provide a consistent and accurate feel Independent lab tests show that the EVO handlebars outlast every other handlebar on the market in fatigue life The EVO handlebar incorporates a unique coating inside the tubing of the handlebar to resis corrosion The use of left side knurling provides maximum grip traction Chemicaly applied graphics are scratch resistant, cannot peel and provide long lasting appeal Handlebar end plugs help keep the elements out of the handlebar tubing and aid in longer grip wear EVO has the best balance between fatigue life, impact strength and impact absorbing flex
