It seems to have very good power and really easy to use power band with the modifications that we have. It definately needed more braking power which we addressed by installing an oversize front disc. Now we're working on getting the suspension dialed in for my son and after that it'll be pretty much "perfect" MX veapon :). Very light and nimble. -

Love it!

I had a 1991 Cat Prowler 440 Special in highschool for bombing fields and roads. The new modern suspension and ergonomics produce a completely different vehicle and almost a different sport. I ride up north in NY and Vermont. I ride out of Island Pond, VT and Lowville NY Price and Mileage are from when I bought it. Currently I have about 5000 miles on sled. Winter 2012-13 i did over 2000 miles -

Absolutely amazing bike! Suspension and motor are dialed in perfect. Great low end stump pulling torque and high speed desert racing capability. Set up is for lower rpm powerband hit. Its alot to hang on to so throttle and clutch control are a must! Only complaint is the weight, I wish I had the 380 EXC because it has the same weight with the extra power but the extra power is NOT needed just wanted when racing those big 450s! -
