  1. I don't want to make this about Stew. This is a serious question/issue regarding what seems to be some very poor implementation of the testing for the outdoor series. As pointed out on a thread on Vital, there is a problematic aspect to the timing of the MX Sports / USADA testing program for the 2014 Pro MX series. The testing program was announced on May 2. The first event, Glen Helen, was May 24. If you review the USADA Q&A and Guidelines for obtaining a TUE, you will find that the USADA states that the normal period for the review of a TUE is 21 days. If you further review the USADA TUE form, you will see that the documentation required is quite substantial. It could take many weeks just to pull together that documentation. It is quite reasonable for a TUE process to require 4-6 weeks under the best circumstances, and multiple months if there is an initial denial, and application re-submittal (which is common). Did MX Sports even think about how they were putting this program in place? Did they allow for a grandfather clause for TUEs due to the problematic timing of the announcement and the 1st event. It seems to me, that they never considered this, as it looks to actually be IMPOSSIBLE for any rider to be competing under a TUE in the series given the time frame involved.
  2. I just wanted a separate thread about the results instead of bouncing back and forth (sue me) Canard got the start he wanted but couldn't hang which I didn't expect, I thought for sure he would hold it together. Roczen is just too fast, not a big fan of him but damn if he can't shred. A couple more laps in moto1 and he would have had JS7... Gotta give it to Grant staying in top 5 with strep throat!
  3. http://wwlp.com/2014/06/03/motocross-permit-approved/ SOUTHWICK, Mass. (The Westfield News) – The Board of Selectmen signed off on a permit last night for the American Legion to continue running motocross events. Chairman Russell Fox said selectmen approved the language written by town counsel that covers use of town-owned land. “The school also has to sign-off on that,” said Fox. For years, motocross organizers have used several acres of land owned by the town that is part of the school district use. The land is approximately four acres and is not actively used by the schools. “We agreed on a payment of $2,000,” Fox said this morning. “They also have an agreement with a private property owner to use his land. I believe they are paying him $5,000, so we wanted to be fair and make this affordable for the Legion.” The American Legion Post 338 will hold the permit, and will then allow another group – including Mike Grondahl and Gary Yelin – to organize and run motocross events.“Who they choose to run it is their business,” said Fox of the American Legion. In the past, the town has charged $1,000 for a three-year permit and the board agreed last night to a one-year, $350 permit fee to get the events up and running. Fox said he believes the agreement is fair.“It allows motocross to continue and protects the town,” said Fox of the agreement and permit. “All in all it’s a good arrangement and I think it’s a win-win.”Fox praised Selectman Joseph Deedy for serving as a liaison between the board, Legion, organizers and attorneys. “Mr. Deedy did an excellent job,” said Fox. Grondahl said the MX338 track – affectionately called “The Wick” in motocross circles, is very sentimental.“It’s the first place I ever raced,” he said. “It had a big impact on me.”Grondahl isn’t the only one. At a public forum on the topic in late March, the Town Hall auditorium was filled with residents overwhelmingly supporting the continuation of the track.“It’s part of Southwick,”

  5. I think he rode his ass off at a track that he knows better than any other, I never got to see what happened to him in moto 2 but my guess is he was pushing really hard and crashed. I don't think we'll see him on the podium much this summer. He is wicked fast sometimes but has never really been able to put it together for a stretch. What's everyone else's thoughts?
  6. WOW, two weeks in a row I have not been able to watch live practice. Use a Mac OS10 and IPAD. The Mac just never loads and the IPAD will not accept that crappy upgrade on the NBC site. Gowd, Who ever set up the NBC site should have their ass kicked every day for a month and who ever accepted the Bid to allow these asslogs at NBC Sport to contract races should have to run a Gauntlet into work and out of work each day from the parking lot. No disrespect but Gay Sports Stations should stay with Gay Sports and not try to dabble in Moto.

  11. Hadn't been watching the lites guys....significantly better racing
  12. Just watched the motos from Spring Creek on Promotocross. and the riders were asked what's their most difficult obstacle......Well, some said the sand whoops at Millville, some said the heat, but Stewart said his biggest one was simply completing a season....!!!!! Not trollin', but that made me and the wifey crack up! Heck, even he admits it.
  13. is getting hooked on country music, thanks to the Dunge.....Now can you imagine Marvin's accent singing along with songs like this.....???????http://instagram.com/p/qzoFSKGzFO/

  16. Travelling to California in January to holiday and watch some SX, where is my best chances of buying some ex factory suspension, and where in LA is the best walk in mx store
  17. Dang dude put on a great ride and gets landed on after the win, terrible. Let's hope he is ok. Go Team USA!
  18. Was a 4-7 guy from the AMA series with a broken foot and also rides SX majority of the year beat The All mighty Jiffy "Sandbag Lad" Herlings. He'll crash a lot in MX1 next year if it's a deep field. Stamp it! 👍
  19. Christophe Pourcel Way to start top 2 in moto 1 only to get snuffed off the podium while backing it up with a holeshot only to get passed twice and gapped 1:03 by a dude who crashed... He should come back next year sporting a new haircut...
  20. I can't watch it live online, and would love to know how it turns out!
  21. According to LeBig USA. Pretty weird, why wouldn't he go ride for team Germany? They could've had a really strong team because Max Nagl will be back at the next GP.
  22. Anyone catch Langston saying he was under the impression Roczen went back to spring forks during Moto 1 commentary last weekend? Thought that was pretty interesting, anyone confirm?
