  2. http://www.racerxonline.com/article/stewart-out-of-ama-nationals-8-25-10.aspx
  3. I know he isn't riding his best at the moment but?? On one of the m/x broadcasts i thought i heard it mentioned that CR is the GOAT of foreign riders to the US. Is this true, anybody got anything on the stat's??
  4. 😏Click there ------->HotSauce MAX!!!
  5. I think it time to give this guy some serious credit. Through the supercross series, me and alot of folks thoght he was in the right place, at the right time, with a number of the top riders out and RD taking advantage of his unique situation. He wins a championship. Then at the beginning of the outdoor season he comes out a little flat. I am thinking he just came out of a long supercross series, and he would come back down to earth and not do as well. But here he is, bouncing back, looking strong, fast, and consistant. He is starting to make it look easy. He is getting better. The rest of the field better take him seriously and make a serious plan on what it is going to take to beat this guy. Every rider will need to have thier "A" game every race, not make mistakes and run up at the front, because RD will take advantage or every riders inneffieciencies, whether it is fitness, slow starts, or just plain riding over your head. RD is consistant out of the gate, smooth and fast through the whole moto, and picks his spots well to make passes. He will take a 2nd or 3rd place if that is what it takes to win a championship. The rest of the riders and thier teams better figure it out because they will have to beat the perfect storm every week for a long time. Good luck to the rest of the 450 class.
  6. As everyone knows, in the US for the 2010 season a rider needs to be 17 years old to race Pro and in 2011, it is upped to 18. In Europe, a rider can race Pro at 15. Therefore, in theory, by 2011 a Euro rider will have raced 3 seasons at a professional level while the US rider will be a rookie. Do you think that we will see an in-rush of Euro riders coming to the US in 2011 to try to clean up against our 18 year old rookies?
  7. Question taken from the August issue of Transworld Motocross. This was answered by 48 anonymous professional racers. The answers were: Ryan Dungey - 46% Everyone is Talented - 30% Andrew Short - 10% Kyle Cunningham - 4% Justin Barcia - 4% John Dowd - 2% Tyla Rattray - 2% Brett Metcalfe - 2% Let's see what the people of TT think. Take it away!
  8. Not in the results ? Is he hurt ? 😏
  9. This year at millville I noticed that many of the riders had go pro helmet cams or that other one (I cant think of its name) I was wondering if that is just for advertisement (sorta like energy drink cans with water in them) or if they actually use them, and if they do is there a way to see them? I checked the go pro website but I did not find anything there
  10. Reed just put on his Twitter page..."hope josh hill is ok" Anyone know what happened?
  11. Cooper Webb "straight out of North Carolina" is tearing them up at Ponca City! 😏😏 http://ponca2010.tracksideresults.com/racer.asp?n=2712
  12. I’m looking for complete seasons of MX and Supercross such as 04 -08 on DVD. I know this question or similar has been posted before but I can't find it.
  13. Well, it looks like KTM has proven the "World" that their bikes are good for something! Carioli wrapped up the MX1 title yesterday in Brazil. Alessi has to do some homework.
  14. Ghost riding a bike=gay.Doing it twice=even more gay.Sorry,had to comment.Maybe I'm alone on this one.Duuuude,Metal Mulisha is siiiiikkk!!!!(sarcasm).End of rant.
  15. It has been reported that an unknown ex- motocross racer has written a screenplay about a fictional character that races motocross, the script is getting praise for it's interesting story line while set in the real raw world of pro- motocross. So positive are the early comments from insiders about the blend of a ture depiction of motocross racing and fictional character, that he has been urged to write a continuation of the first story ending with motocross and the second to begin with supercross, I'll post more info as I find out. Finally maybe a moto movie other than "On any Sunday" that wont embarrass those who ride and race. Your thoughts ? ( as long as there mature )
  16. This is great news but hope he takes his time and doesn't push it too much.
  17. I hope Stewart makes a better showing at the next race.
  18. After I watched the videos linked below I thought "well dungey and other current riders are very fast and controlled, but I really wonder if they could hang it out at such a race pace, swapping lines, and banging bars, just hanging it out like RC and Bubba could back in RC and Bubba's peak". Now I know bubba ant up to speed anymore so we really cant use his race last week as an example. Basicly I wonder if we will ever see that kinda hang it all out-throttle wide open- attack the track speed ever again. I'm starting to think its because both of them grow up riding 2 strokes. While most other current riders went from 85's to 250F's... Bubba stuck with the 125 and then had to ride the 250 2 stroke his first year on the big bikes... and RC rode 2 strokes most his career. I have heard and seen local pros practice on 125's to sharpen thier skills, could it be that 2 strokes allow you to learn quicker? I hope the days of hanging it out go for broke racing ant done. Here is the vids I was talking about and
  19. I've been hearing some chatter about Izzi breaking some track rules at Unadilla, maybe cut the track or something.?.? AMA possibly going to doc him a few positions. Anyone know what happened? MAX!!!
  20. said it himself on "the daily habit" glenn
  21. Just for the sake of having something to debate due to an off (slow) week, Team USA should be: MX1 - RV MX2 - ET MX3 - RD I think these picks/positions are pretty much no brainers as long as there are no health issues, but what if - - RV is injured - RD would surely move to the MX1 slot, but who rides MX3? JB, TC, JS? IMO Logical choice would be Barcia but Stewart's last race showed something, or a fluke? It will be interesting to see if JS can consistently run at speed while staying upright. ET is injured - Logical choice is Baggett, but Osborne has 5 seasons on European soil and has shown some speed. ZO might be the better choice, considering he has more experience and is better accustomed to the FIM format, plus BB has stated that it takes a couple of days for his wrist to stop hurting, a luxury he won't have at MXoN (Qualification race Sat, Race Sun). Anyone else? RD is injured - Same considerations as above for the backup 450. TC deserves a look, if not for 2 DNFs this season he would be right there in points with JB, and has shown top 5 speed all year long. Anyone have any intell on when the team will be announced? Team USA needs redemption and should be ready to issue some payback to Germany on their own soil (Teutschenthal). :usa:
  22. ........Chupacabra," why does everyone need a dorky nickname? Let's help Weigant out a little, how about MA800, "The Rocket" for his holeshots. MM25, "The spicy french fry." I don't know, maybe I need a nickname too, "El stupido" or something. I wish Weigant would let that crap go. Geesh.
  23. Too bad. Eleven 10 Mods was a favorite privateer team I followed when Darryn Durham shocked the world (okay maybe not world) a couple of years ago during the outdoors. Loved that race with the helmet cam footage of DD yelling wooo hoooo over a jump when he was dicing for the lead. Courtesy of RacerX: There was writing on the wall (or even on the flat block box van) for months regarding this move, but it now appears the ever-determined Eleven10 Mods Yamaha racing team is off the road for good. The current team riders, Alex Martin and Brady Kiesel, will now move over to the Rock River Yamaha team. Eleven10 Mods will continue on as a performance modification company based in its Uniontown, Pennsylvania shop, but the pro race team is no more. It's not shocking news, considering that after the Eleven10 box van (which is seemingly nearing the million mile mark) didn't make it to the Minneapolis SX (leaving 250 East SX rider PJ Larsen without a bike to race), Rock River began housing some of the team's bikes and parts, and there seemed to be some collaboration between the teams to make sure Martin and Kiesel had bikes to race on the weekend. We'll have more on this as it develops, but it will certainly be sad to no longer see the little box van that could in the pro pits, ready to do battle against the big dogs.
