  1. another quick 3 minute recap from Highpoint. Like it? Hate it? Tell me to eff off?
  2. Yah I know this is not a new topic.......but it seems he's disappeared off the face of the earth....we all expected to hear from him from time via mug shots such as Austin stroupe......so what's he up to.....doing any local races.....digging ditches.....etc....
  3. Just caught the tail end of the Matterly Basin MXGP race 2 and didnt see Roman in the race, did he have a get off in the first race?
  4. Guys we've let Jessy Nelson fall through the cracks in here and his condition has not really improved much since the crash. I'm hoping that all of us can contribute something to a young man who's entertained us all on the track. It saddens me that our sport does not take care of its top riders when something like this happens but that's where we all can step up to the plate and donate something even if it's the $15 that you were going to spend on new grips. Everyone try to help with what they can for this young ripper.
  5. or so it seams with Savatgy's bike ! what's the scoop ? it almost seems like he's sick. or his conditioning is not on par
  6. What a disappointment he's been on Kawi. Couldn't even beat Barcia these last few rounds. Good thing for Roczen that Tomac is having issues...
  7. No access to Ironman replays today,,,why?
  8. I am jumping on it. Cody is the peoples privateer, Tomac the peoples champ. Way to keep what is of paramount importance first and what is secondary, second. I also want to give a shout out to all those who came to my rescue at Echo Valley just in case you are on here. The love i felt from those who put aside their day to help me was amazing.
  9. At least that's the rumor flying around on Twitter by Reed and Webb. All due to Hurricane Hermine that is hitting the area. I haven't seen any confirmation by the MXGP folks. Anybody know if this is true? I wonder if the Euro's are like., "what the fuq is a hurricane, I thought he retired!?" 🤦 https://www.instagram.com/p/BJ3HHwGA_rY/
  10. In route to myrtle beach.. Going to try to get some autographs on my brain bucket... Any tips ? Pit pass ? Get there before dawn ? Grease the security personnel ?
  11. I thought Dungey was the best rider, KTM was the best bike, and Aldon was the best trainer. How can that trio be getting their asses handed to them over and over and over again? Where are all of the KTM / Dungey swingers at? Are you guys jumping ship?
  12. Chances are that your gear is caked in mud by the end of the day. While a thorough cleaning is necessary, you run the risk of damaging the your outfit in the process. Alternatively, you don’t want to be wearing dirty gear because you’re afraid of ruining the material. Whilst you should always adhere to the specific washing labels your gear comes with, these tend not to be detailed. Luckily, there are basic guidelines you should follow while washing your gear to ensure you get maximum cleanliness with no harm done. Act fast Starting the process early is essential in cleaning your gear. Avoid crumpling your outfit as this allows the dirt to sink in. Instead, try to remove as much as dirt as you can before properly washing it. This can be done by hosing off the mud under a low pressure. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush with cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid using excessive force as this can deteriorate the durability of your gear. Oxygenated detergent You should be wary of using oxygenated detergent when washing your gear. While it’s useful for the extra lift it gives to stains, its active ingredients can dry out the leather knees. Over time, this will make them unsafe due to cracking and splitting. Turning your gear inside out and soaking with a mild, non-abrasive detergent is gentler than using oxygenated detergents without compromising on hygiene. Machine washing After removing as much dirt as you can, wash your gear in the machine under a cold wash and cold rinse. Some riders are tempted to pressure clean their gear or wash it under a more rigorous cycle, but this runs the risk of crumpling or fading your gear. It’s also powerful enough to push the oils out from the leather knees, compromising their flexibility. Also avoid washing your gear with bleach, as this will fade the colour. Drying Tumble drying your gear after it’s finished washing can ruin all the careful cleaning you’ve done to this point. Hang it to dry in a well ventilated area out of direct sunlight. This will allow the material to breathe and protect the colours from fading prematurely. After it's dry, pack away neatly and never iron it out as this can melt the fabric. 13. The RM125 seems to be in good condition. It has recently had a full engine rebuild. My CR85R is in good condition and I just rebuilt my top end and put a new rear shock and wheel assembly on it. Do you all think this would be a good trade and why or why not?
  14. So one year ago, just before the Rona hit America, I was all set to buy a 2020 250 here in the midwest USA for just about $6000 out the door, total cost. The virus concerns made me postpone that buy. Then the market went nuts and all the bikes got sold out and nobody was really cutting great deals. So I am wanting to see what you out there are paying for your new 250's now. US prices only, by the way.
  15. So number 84 is racing mx2 again, sandbagging or being smart and recovering from his hip? Personally I don't think mx2 is a gimme so I think he's being smart.
  16. Not a fan! but just curious if he still exists in the pro scene at all? He was never much of a supercross guy but I don't recall him in the last outdoors either, any one know what's up with mike?
  17. Will he be racing outdoors in 2016?
  18. Carson Giles and James Rhodes have been working hard to get their bike prepped to race on behalf of the ThumperTalk community in the Caselli Challenge this Friday at Glen Helen Raceway. Carson shot us over this pic of the bike with its full custom graphics from the Folks at MotoFXGraphics.com installed on all new Acerbis USA bodywork. We think they came out great! Other parts include Malcolm Smith Racing (MSR) Impact handguards & skid plate, Boyesen Factory Racing Clutch & Ignition Covers as well as their SuperCooler kit. The bike is sitting on an MSR Podium bikestand and we'll be setting sag at the track using Slacker Digital Sag Scales provided by the Folks at Motool. Of course, thanks to FMF and the Caselli Foundation for kindly reserving two race team slots for us! Interested in helping us support the off-road racer safety efforts of the Kurt Caselli Foundation?
