  5. MORGANTOWN, WV – November 11, 2013 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – In honor of Veteran’s Day, MX Sports Pro Racing and the National Promoter’s Group (NPG) are proud to announce the continuation of an initiative with the Veteran Tickets Foundation, where active and retired military veterans will once again have the opportunity to attend any round of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, at no cost. For 2014, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross has donated 50 General Admission tickets for each of the 12 rounds of the Nationals to the Vet Tix foundation. Tickets will be available to all military veterans three weeks prior to each event through VetTix.org. “The donation of free tickets has dramatically widened the range of ways that veterans can relax, enjoy themselves, share smiles with their families and loved ones, and for some, be re-integrated into civilian life,” said CEO and Founder of Vet Tix Michael Focareto. Major sports franchises from Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, National Football League, and National Hockey League have also partnered with Vet Tix, as have World Wrestling Entertainment and Professional Bull Riders. Lucas Oil Pro Motocross is one of the first prominent motorsports properties in the country to offer this one-of-a-kind service to all veterans of the armed services. Vet Tix is a national nonprofit organization based in Phoenix that provides free tickets to veterans and active-duty members of the military and their families. The concept of Vet Tix was developed in 2008 by U.S. Navy veteran Michael Focareto. Since then, the organization has given away more than 725,000 tickets to veterans nationwide. All active and retired military veterans can create an account on VetTix.org to receive emails and reminders about when Lucas Oil Pro Motocross tickets become available. More information about Vet Tix can be found at VetTix.org. The 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship kicks off Saturday, May 24, with the Glen Helen National in San Bernardino, Calif. Making its highly anticipated return to Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, the Glen Helen National will kick off the season Saturday, May 24 in San Bernardino, Calif. The 12-round series will then make stops throughout the summer at premier motocross facilities in the country, while introducing a brand new venue in Indiana before concluding with the Utah National in Tooele, Utah on August 23. Joining the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship for the first time is the Midwest’s Indiana National in Crawfordsville, Ind., serving as the penultimate round in 2014. Many of the series’ traditional stops return in 2014, including Hangtown, Thunder Valley, High Point, Budds Creek, RedBud, Spring Creek, Washougal and Unadilla. Adding those events in with such premier motocross tracks as RedBud, Unadilla, Washougal, Hangtown and more, and you have the makings of an exciting summer of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross for fans all over the country.” The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is the pinnacle of professional motocross racing, attracting the world’s most talented athletes to compete on the country’s toughest and most scenic motocross tracks. 8. We will be traveling around central California in May and are planning to attend Hangtown on 5/18. Has anyone purchased the VIP ticket? Is it worth the extra $110 vs general admission? Any feedback is appreciated.
  9. Look what I found...future of 2 stroke bikes 👍
  10. Let's say Stewart and JGR were to tear up that contract and go their separate ways, say, by tomorrow. And soon thereafter James asked you for some advice on what to do. What would you tell him?
  11. I know this is a bit premature since Outdoors hasn't even started yet, but I've been pretty stoked about the idea. Most all of my siblings have gone to a few concerts through the years, but iI haven't. I don't love a specific band enough to justify going to a concert, so I never have. But i do love SX and MX. It's been 9 years since I've been to my last race, the 2003 SLC SX, and i think it's time to go to something again. The weekend they're holding the SLC race, I'll be a little farther south terrorizing Moab, so that's checked off the list and out of the picture. I'm not complaining, it's our first trip to Moab after all. So now that leaves me with Las Vegas, Washougal, or Thunder Valley. I'd like to go to a MX race just to get a feel for the outdoor atmosphere and a change of pace (if that makes sense?) and Washougal (Portland) is about three hundred miles farther to drive than Thunder Valley (Denver). I've checked into flying, and it's $370 freaking bucks to fly to either place. (we got to tickets to Germany a few years ago for $500 round trip, but those were dirt cheap hahaha) So I've landed on Thunder Valley, which is fine by me. I'm a big Ashley Fiolek fan (disabled like me + chick + dirt bikes = awesomeness in my book) and Washougal skips over the Womens racing, plus I've never actually been to Denver. Now that I've filled you all in on the pointless back story, here's why i brought this up. I was wondering how TVMX was like for parking, viewing, things like that. I've had some guys say that there are tracks that are pretty much garbage as far as comforts are concerned. I know this is an MX track, so I'm not expecting SX facilities, but I would think since it's regularly on the list for the Lucas Oil MX, it should be decent. Any thoughts, gripes about the track and all that? I'm pretty pumped about doing this since it's going to be part of my HS Graduation present.
  12. Not good when you end up on the Today show. I wonder when this will affect our favorite sport? http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp=46806037#46806037

  20. For not using that god awful Brett Michael's song before the show! I mean the song you are using sucks too and so does your coverage, but what a slap in the face to the homo Brett Michaels by not using his steamy pile of a shit for a song and instead using a worse song on a sub par broadcast, you gotta be wondering where you went wrong at this stage in the game?
  21. so MXDN is coming up soon and im just wondering can we beat herlings in the deep sand.. i would like to think we can but there is a lot of talk about how hes the guy to beat over there.. i no every year they say that we cant beat a certain guy and we end up smoking him so is this the same case?
