  3. couple weeks back while driving Knoxville along Knoxville Berryessa road i saw a couple trucks unloading dirt bikes. they were parked close to the east shore trail/road which runs a few miles along the eastern side of the lake . I thought OHV vehicles are prohibited on that road but curious is there some other place in the vicinity where people can ride other than knoxville ohh ?
  4. Is there anything legal .... not shut down? seems every track has been closed. Moonrocks?
  5. Post up what you got, I’ll take gps tracks in gpx file. Make such the snow is gone and the trees are cleared enough for a Jeep to fit
  6. OK.... Who's the Sally who got their panty ridden pastrami sandwich in a bind and called out the Toddler (aka He/She) for being insensitive? Y'all are like foreskin, you want attention but oh so sensitive to the touch!
  7. My wife Firecracker and I are ready to ride, with a new pro circuit Beta factory Pipe and jet kit installed on her 125 for more power and clean response . Have a great weekend ya all
  8. What a great day for America The Free and The brave1. we got there at 11 am, was probably 2000 people there, and by the time we left about 1Pm there was about 5000 people out . Big Flags and signs everywhere. They had music playing for an hour before the Speakers. Great Song choices too "Living In America" by James brown was awesome. ACDC. Then before the speakers they had a female with a great voice, sing the National Anthem. omg it was fantastic. Even a bi-plane flew over head with a tail sign saying end Newsom tyranny
  9. All it takes is a simple 24 hour notice for the F50C to have 15+ rider group. Chainsaws, wives, HotDogs and relish ...,leave them at home. This will be a 70+ mile ride of pure dirt, no pavement. F50C.... THE ORIGINAL NCAL CLUB.

  13. I call it Da Cali Lean. Ever since this BS started, they lean low and to the left......just like my pecker. Emphasis on low. But I've reached the end of PornHub, may I recommend the midgets with donkeys section, very entertaining, yet curiously arousing. I've been to Oklahoma, more than once. I keep hearing "come back to Oklahoma, it'll make all three stand tall and proud again". Time to pull up my Batman underoos. Da Cali Lean is real..... Oklahoma here I come.
  14. Was up in Foresthill with the Jeep over the weekend. Driving by the staging area on the left-hand side of Foresthill road just before you get to Sugar Pine road, I noticed a truck parked in the first dirt parking area in there. As I drive by I notice the gate is still closed. So I pulled over to see if the gate is locked -- and it is. But as I'm driving away I see five trucks in the rear view mirror, with dirt bikes in the back, pulling out. Not sure if they had a key or if they drove around the gate. But its pretty messed up for guys to go in there when its closed. The dirt is still very soggy in spots and it's going to be all trenched out when they do finally open. This is the kind of dick move that gets these places shut down for good.
  15. A place for WFBB ride reports.
  16. Every month or so Carnegie puts out a call for volunteers to help with some form of Park maintenance. One such event is a "Tree planting day". I recently helped with one a month or so ago, and it was nothing like I expected. The Staff use a powered auger drill to bore the holes, and all the volunteers have to do is finish clearing holes any remaining small rocks, taking one of the provided saplings, and place it in the hole with a bit of potting soil. It is not difficult at all (easy for kids, young, and old alike). Carnegie provides drinks, snacks, and lunch (I don't know if they provide lunch every time, but they did this time). Anyway, another tree planting event is coming up this Sunday (March 8) from 9 to noon. This time, they are offering a free 1 day pass to anyone that helps. (You don't need an ORV to get to the planting site. You can park literally 20 feet away). They do not charge any admission fee if you're there to volunteer. (These events are normally announced on the Carnegie SVRA Facebook page.) So if Carnegie is your offroad home, please consider coming out and pitching in for a couple hours. It's easy and, dare I say it, fun (with the camaraderie of the other volunteers). If you're already planning to go biking there on Sunday, park your ride, grab a sapling and plant a few. You have no idea how much that will help in defense of those who are constantly trying to get Carnegie shutdown. A large turn out will demonstrate that us riders do have a vested interest in the Park, and are willing to 'fight' to protect and maintain it. Hopefully see you there!
  17. Anyone know of any loam in NorCal? I have seen pics of places up here but have no idea where I could fine some. Thanks!
  18. I know someone who is looking to retire in northern California or southern Oregon. Any tips on where good riding areas are, or nice areas to live? He's got a KTM EXC 350, and likes everything from fire roads to challenging single track. He says that some of the property he looks like is backed up against BLM land. His wife will be having horses too, so they'll want the best of both worlds. Thanks, Toby

    N.Cal MPC

Has anyone been to MPC since this corona nonsense started? I'm having trouble calling them. Nevermind. They are open as usual.
  20. What do you guys think about night rides? Set up a 20-40 mile gps loops at GT, FH, Elkins. Ride in pairs, camp out. might be a fun way to keep riding through the summer.
  21. Called the mobile number and spoke to the Ranger (super nice guy!) Most areas around us will reopen tomorrow, May 1 but not Georgetown. I don't get it. GT has the same issues with weather, Covid, downded trees etc., other parks can reopen, just not GT. He told me that he didn't think the park would reopen until they are fully back to work and they had time to get out and clear trails. Not his fault at all. I just don't get how the other parks have identical needs but are open. Frustrated.
