Seems like you cannot buy this at a regular pump gas station, though some places MAY sell gallon containers. Why is it that I cannot find a regular gas station that sells ethanol free gas at the pump? Most everything in the area is 10% too. Ridiculous. I've checked pure-gas.org and buyrealgas.com. Nothin.

Is there anyone around the geneseo/rochester area who knows some good places to drag some knees? Im getting sick of riding with squids who only know how to grab throttle in a straight line and have some nice big chicken strips for dinner... ?

Ive read up on the bikes and am leaning towards a dr650 but I need to understand the regional dirt scene better to make a decision. Can I ride to some choice spots within say 1-1.5 hours of Long Island (where I work/live) or even (gasp!) ride dirt on LI? If not I'll have to plan on a trailer (and a lighter more dirt oriented bike). What kind of terrain and trails can I expect to encounter? I'd be more than happy tooling along on dirt roads but as a former mtn biker I'm not averse to single track (also at a slow-moderate pace). Thanks in advance for any helpful advice!

Hello, bringing my sons to Tug Hill, we've got a campsite at Tuggers 29-31 July. Riding a KTM 450 EXC, KTM 250 XCF-W, and a 65SX. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to ride? I've seen a few youtube videos shot in the area, but they all seem to be well-graded dirt roads. My sons aren't terribly experienced, but we were hoping for something more challenging than that. Any ideas? Routes on a map? Or something? Thank you, Michael

There will be an ahrma Trials at Unadilla's MX Rewind June 10th. There will also be a non ahrma points class for Post 79 Air-cooled trials bikes with drum brakes and twin shocks just like last year. So bring your Can Am's, TLR's, Fantic's SWM's and others, compete just like everyone else, and get a trophy for your efforts. Also need help with checking. Looking for motocross schools or teachers to help me learn to ride faster. i have been riding bikes for a long time and want to get into racing and i think a school would be great. Any suggestions? im in the NYC area but willing to travel

I still can not figure out my wonderful state! Why can't they get off their ass and set up a trail system for ATV. We also need to push the fact that a Dirt Bike/Off-road only, should be allowed as a registered ATV. Lets have a little discussion on this.... We can have a trail system for snowmobiles, they can make money off them. Why not invest a little and make more off the same trail system with ATV use..... The environmental impact you say??? I say we take it too a vote. All in favor, say !!!!!!!?????

With the nice weather coming real soon and just purchased my first street legal/supermoto. Would be nice to get a solid group of guys to ride on long island.

I live in Ballston Lake. (3 exits from Clifton Park and 5 exits from Saratoga). And as far as I see, nowhere to ride 'round here! Anywhere from exit 7 to lower Lake George and everything in between is OK. MX track, trails (preferably legal.) Woods riding (also legal please). Just give me the location of it and (trails/woods riding) where the entrence is. I'm not sure if powerline riding is legal, but the location of that too please.

Going to try to keep the warm weather around for the weekend! OK, maybe not as warm as today but 55 degrees aint bad! In order to attend this weeks Open Practice, each person thru our front gate MUST BRING AT LEAST ONE ITEM OF NON-PERISHABLE FOOD THAT WILL BE DONATED TO THE LOCAL TOWN OF PLATTEKILL FOOD PANTRY! We at Walden Mx realize that we are very fortunate to be able to try bring you the best Mx riding and racing that we can, but there are people out there that are less fortunate then us. We would like, with help, to give them a hand with coping with the Holiday season. Yes, yes .....there will be food. The weather is looking good and the days to ride are getting fewer and fewer. Come ride this weekend, enjoy yourself and help others at the same time. Our local Girl scouts will be on hand to assist with the collection and delivery of all donated food items. Next, everyones heard of "Black Friday" right? Thats the day Moms and wives get up earlier then fathers on race day! They head out to compete in the fast paced world of Extreme Shopping to do battle. Well, Walden Mx is planning "Black Saturday"! Thats right guys and gals...Open Practice, weather permitting, will be held Saturday, November 26th, 2011! On this day, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the front gate upon arrival to be given to our local Toys for Tots Organization. Believe it or not, this Holiday Season, not everybody will be receiving new bikes, quads, boots, helmets, chest protecters or gear. Again, not eveybody is as fortunate as we are so lets do our part to lend a hand. More on this to come. Last, but not least.....on May 5, 2012 Walden Mx will be 50! Thats right folks! Back on May 5th, 1962 Walden Mx was incorporated as a true Mx Club and Track. One of the first in the area. So, we are planning a full weekend of celebration on May 5th and 6th, 2012. And seeing that Mothers Day is the following week, The World Famous Mothers Day Halftime Race will be run! I live about 30 min north of nyc and have been dying to ride some new trails and tracks. I have been up to walden to the track and a few local trails. I am looking for some new trails in the area. Does anyone have suggestions? Also I wish there was a more local atv mx track. It doesnt need to be an organized one but at least somewhere to practice. Does anyone have any idea if there are any around

any good trails in the albany area?

Novice Mx rider in yorktown heights NY. Looking for someone or people in the local area to split the travel cost with. I have an enclosed trailer can fit 3 bikes comfortable or pack 5 bikes in it. or throwing the bike in the back of the pickup is fine too. I ride with a group people but we are all from different area's ( met them at the track). I really want to race hurricane hills but im not going to do that trip by my self. Up to travel anywhere to ride. I also trail ride.

I've been riding for most of my life with buddies on tracks owned by friends around where i live (Potsdam, NY 13676) and on random state land trails. Unfortunately, things changed, and friends have moved, and the forests where i used to ride have been cut down, leaving me with nowhere to ride. I've never brought my bike to a public track (because i don't know of any) but i would absolutely love to. Is there anyone who can help me out/ point me in the right direction?
