  1. Hey guys, so recently I've noticed that my front pro circuit suspension is stiffer than hell. So I read on it and it said that sometimes it's because the front wheel is misaligned and the forks will not sit right. So I put the bike on a stand bled the suspension and got the axle nut loose and the pinch bolts, and every body said to push the suspension down or even press the brakes a few times to help align the wheel. I made sure to tighten the axle then tightened the pinch bolts. But when I tried to push the suspension down while everything was loose it barely moves at all because it's so stiff. I even tried putting the bike on the stand and turning the clickers counter clockwise to soften them up but they were out of adjustment. What do I Do? How do you guys realign the wheel? I've got a riding trip coming up soon and need as much help as I can get. I'll try to add a link to video I found of a bike doing the same thing.
  2. Hello, i see many factors can make wheelies easier such as tire pressure, bald tire or maybe the positioning of ( handle-bar, brake pedal or shifting lever ). Anyone has any setup to make wheelie On a dirtbike easier plz share it here. this is not how to wheelie thread!! This is about achieving the best setup for a better control on a wheelie. For example, i just bought a yz450f 2016 and i am struggling with side to side balance past balance point. Got better when lowered the tire pressure but still struggling a bit!
  3. Yes, I am asking what to buy, I’m sure there are a million other threads with a very similar question, but before bashing me for posting, please understand that although I am talking about the whole topic, I want to focus a large portion of this post on the expense of the two bikes, mostly the repair expense. Now that we’ve got that cleared up, I’m an intermediate rider, bought a brand new 2018 250XC last year and love the bike. I race hare scrambles, but lately I’ve been riding MX a lot and thinking about trying a new 4 stroke and getting something that will handle the track a bit better (suspension-wise). I’ve been told the 350’s are about as expensive as they get to repair when it comes to the engine, but I don’t truly know what the case is. Does anyone have some round-about numbers, any comparisons to the expense of the 450? Yes, I know the 450 costs a few hundred more up front, I don’t care about that, just looking at maintenance. Also, I’m worried that being used to the 250 2 stroke (and I ride with the red spring in, I like an aggressive feel) I will have a hard time getting used to a 350F, kind of like getting on a 250F where I feel like I’m pounding on the throttle to keep it moving. Is this anything to be worried about? In every other way I lean towards 350, being a 2 stroke guy, liking the lighter-weight, more nimble-feeling bikes.
  4. Haven't had single comfortable ride with Web Pro Knee Braces. I wore them with ski socks (knee length) and Leatt knee brace pants. I put them by instruction, knee brace pants doesn't allow them to move around. After 30min track ride, red area (see picture) is sore, scratched and it leaves scaring. It can be caused by strap no3 due to squat movement. 2 strap is more on the calf but strap 3 when bending knees is right on tendon. Braces size matches my leg measurements. Could it be that they need to be worn with special long/density socks? Have other Web users experienced such discomfort?
  5. im a 13 year old girl (turning 14 in a couple of days). Since i was 10, i have had an interest in motocross so a couple of months ago i decided that it was time to try it. About 2 1/2 weeks ago me and my dad got a deal with a motocross club close to where we live. I had 30 minutes to get instructions and to ride. After 10 seconds on the bike i loved it. I took all the things the instructor told me in, and enjoyed my 30 minutes on the bike. After the 30 minutes - that became to 45 because of how much fun i had, the instructor told me that he was impressed, and that i am already horse steps ahead of the other (few) girls in the club. On that short amount of time i learned all the basics. Gear, clutch, brack and i nailed it all (okay a little to much confidense ;-)). my top speed was 18.5 MPH on a 85cc in 2 gear. My question(s) is: -Am i to old to start? -Do i have time enough to become a pro? I know its hard to answer, but i have NO idea if i still have time enough to become a pro. I think my advantages are that: -Im a girl (so the competition isn´t just as hard?) -I have a lot parent support. My dad is totally ready to go out and buy a dirt bike, and to help me learn how to fix it and all that mechanic stuff. -I am fearless. Im "not carefull" on the track. Its just as fast, as high, and so "technic perfect" as possible. -from i was 8-11 i rode the horse (i feel like it helped my body position). I am one of those "if i want it, il get it persons", so to get in shape for the season 2018 im training fitness 3 times a week, shape and strength. I will be able to start riding in march. until April i will only ride 1 time a week. From April to August i will ride 3-4 times a week for four hours each time, and probably go to a summer motorcross camp. From August to march i can only ride 2-4 times a month. And thats my "year circel" :-). So do you think that i have a chance of becoming a pro in my 16-20 years old years?. If i keep on training hard, having the economy, and really wanting it?. Thanks in advance :-)
  6. A few months ago I bought a 2002 50sx pro junior LC. The guy I got it from told me that it had sit most its life and was never messed with. It wouldn't start so he sold it to me cheap. So, I took it home put a new stator on it, and she fired right up. Clean filter, new fluids and it was running fine. I put my kid on it and he came right back and said "NO". The problem is that its way too fast, too much torque, it's a bad little mammer jammer! We rode down the street together so I could get an idea of how fast it was, but every time he gave it a little gas it stood straight up and scared him to death. I haven't been able to find anything about how to tame it down, other than to change the sprockets. So I thought I'd ask and see if any of you guys had any ideas.
  7. Hi, I am 13 years old and I am trying to decide what bike I want to get (two stroke of course). I'm 5'2 - 5'3 tall, and I weigh 125lbs. I'm a beginner at this, meaning this is my first bike but, I have ridden a dirt bike a few times. My choices are the yz85, cr85, kx85, kx100, sx85, and the sx105 (Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, or Ktm). I am not interested in the rm because I just don't like it. It seems like a cheap crappy (sorry if I offended you) and it doesn't seem to have the speed and power that I want ( at least that's how people describe it to be). So please don't include it in. I am going to buy a used bike on Craigslist or somewhere because this is my first year and I'm not the richest of families (in case that helps.) Right now, I'm confused about which bike to get because they're all good brands. I want to be fast on the track (obviously) and I want to be aggressive. Which bike will fit that role? Can some also explain what top end and bottom end power is and what it helps with when you are listing a bike? Can you include the pro and con of it? I'm also not sure if an 85 is the right size for me, as I want to grow into a bike and have it last me. Maybe I should get a 125, if is so, which one (again, no Suzuki rm)? I'm going to a dealership to sit on some and try some (not too sure about trying some) Saturday but I just want thoughts about this. I don't know ANYONE with a dirt bike so the internet is my only friend here so I am really counting on you. My mom doesn't know anything about dirt bikes or the sport so I have to really look at this stuff myself. If you have any tips, please leave some as they will be helpful for me or any other onlookers in the same situation as I am in.
