  1. Hitting some advanced/expert trails. I'm on a trip with my biz partner and camping near windy ridge. If you are advanced rider or better, join us for what appears to be perfect conditions.
  2. Post here if you are looking for ride company or a guide for Tahuya.
  3. Our group is starting the log out this Sunday March 19th providing not too much rain is coming down. The area is a couple of trails just twenty miles Northeast of Battle Ground (40 minute drive). You do not need a chainsaw but if you have loppers and/or a Pulaski that would be fine, I also have extra Pulaski's and loppers to loan out. Our hours are reported to the Forest Service and go towards grant money for even more trail repairs by outside groups. So if you like to spend time out in the forest like we do, please come on out and lend a hand. Please message me if you want to help out.
  4. Stolen bikes (and much more) found in Tukwila. https://komonews.com/news/local/gallery/stolen-trucks-boats-a-backhoe-power-tools-recovered-from-property-in-tukwila#photo-4
  5. New baksideDisaster flick is out! We headed out to Mattawa weekend or so back to one of my top favorite riding spots in Washington. Putting a spin on a classic we climbed up Saddle Mountains waterfall from the Beverly dunes where the crashes where a plenty! It was my first time out filming with new GoPro Hero 7 Black using the hypersmooth mode, results were sick and color is awesome. Check it out, please like, subscribe, and post up if you have any questions regarding the video, GoPro Hero 7 Black, DJI drone used in this video or whatever! Thanks for watching!
  6. Who lives and rides in Shelton, Belfair, Tahuya, Bremerton..etc? Heading up there to scope out the scene to find a place to live, and wouldn't mind meeting up with some single track riders. Basically want to ride at the house, or ride to the trails. Is that possible without being in a 1 horse town? Any good clubs to talk to in the areas? Any opinions are greatly appreciated! Cheers, Rob
  7. Hey, a buddy of mine and I are heading out to Cle Elum to do some trails in the ORV park. If there's anyone who wants to join or anyone who knows the area well and can give some tips, please hit me up the more the merrier!
  8. Now that the high trails are opening up, let's see some peaks you are bagging this year... from yesterday Miller Peak 6,400ft 7,200ft
  9. Little Pend Oreille is in the North East corner of Washington state, from what I can tell the nearest town is Colville. Anyone ever ride the area and if so what was it like? It is a dedicated ORV area according to the map that I'm using. Thanks.
  10. Jones Creek in Washington was where I first started riding in 1976. Today, its got a strong contingent of followers and an organization that does a great job of keeping the trail system alive and thriving. Recently, two more trail sections were added and there is more to come. I took some time and put this promo piece together for the organization. I hope you are able to take some time, watch the video, and come out to Jones Creek and ride. Your involvement is what helps keep these areas open!!! Enjoy!
  11. Webb Takes Everett EnduroCross Win EVERETT, WA – October 15, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Cody Webb took his third straight main event win at the Rekluse Clutch EnduroCross in Everett, Washington. The FMF KTM rider took over the lead on the third lap and held a comfortable margin to the end. SRT Offroad backed Trystan Hart finished a strong second to back up his round one podium and fourth consecutive top five. Rockstar Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker had a tough main event with a costly crash on lap one but managed to come back to finish third. The top thirteen Super EnduroCross riders earned their way into the gate pick qualifier and Haaker took the win to earn a bonus point. He had a back and forth battle with Webb and just when it appeared that Webb was going to take the top spot, he went down in the river rock section to allow Haaker to take over the lead and win. The bracket race groups the top 12 riders into single lap head to head battles until the final two riders face off. For the fourth consecutive race, Webb and Haaker faced off in the final. Haaker got the jump on the start but Webb made an aggressive pass in the rock pile to take over the lead and held Haaker off to the finish. This gave Webb a bonus point to offset the one Haaker got in the qualifier. The start of the main event was chaotic as Haaker did a nose wheelie into the first turn when he locked bars with another rider. Hart came out of turn one with the lead ahead of Spain’s Joan Pau Segura and Webb. Haaker’s bad start put him deep into the pack and then he crashed in the wood pit on lap one to drop to the back of the fifteen-rider field. Hart led the first lap and then Webb worked his way past both Segura and Hart on lap three to take the lead. Webb and Hart both took the joker lane early in the race and held onto the top two spots. This allowed Webb to ride off to his third win in four races. Hart held second until Haaker passed him on lap eleven but Haaker had not yet taken the joker lane setting up a tense final three laps. Haaker waited until the final lap to take the joker lane and Hart stayed close enough to take second back on the final turn. Cory Graffunder put in his best result of the season to take fourth position despite sitting in fourteenth at the end of lap one. The tall Canadian thrives on tough tracks and this one fit the bill. Ty Tremaine rounded out the top five on his RPM KTM and he too had to recover from a bad first lap that saw him in 11th. Beta’s Max Gerston finished sixth while riding with some injuries sustained in a crash just four weeks before. Cooper Abbott rode his Purvines DA8 Yamaha to seventh. A crash pushed him back from a battle for fifth. Kyle Redmond rode his SRT Husqvarna to eighth. GasGas backed Noah Kepple finished ninth after a terrible start. Wally Palmer rounded out the top ten on his SRT backed KTM. Ty Cullins, Tyler Kinkade, Cody Miller, Quinn Wentzel and Segura finished 11th to 15th respectively. Segura rode in third for half the race and looked solid until he broke a chain. Cody Webb rode his FMF KTM to his third straight EnduroCross main event win of the season. Photography: Tanner Yeager Cody Webb: “I struggled with my starts all day today and my face was riding Colton’s rear tire going into the first turn, I am not sure if we locked bars but he was doing a stopie,” Webb said. “I tried to put in strong laps because I did not know what was going on with Colton and I know he rides strong all the way to end. It is great to get another win.” Trystan Hart had another great ride to take a career best second in Everett. Photography: Tanner Yeager Trystan Hart: “This is kind of my home race since it is closest to my house in Canada,” Hart said. “It was so great to have so many of those fans and family come down here to cheer me on. And I got the holeshot and led for a little bit. I knew that Colton had not taken the joker lane yet when he passed me so I stayed as close as possible and got him back on the last lap.” Colton Haaker had a tough first lap but recovered to take third in Everett. Photography: Tanner Yeager Colton Haaker: “I was down in the firewood section and stuck in somebody’s bike,” Haaker said. “I got a good start and when I put the brakes on I hooked handlebars with somebody and that put me into a nose wheelie. I rode the best I could and it wouldn’t have mattered (if I took the joker lane earlier), that what happens when you have to pass that many riders.” 2017 Everett AMA EnduroCross main event results Cody Webb, KTM Trystan Hart, Husqvarna Colton Haaker, Husqvarna Cory Graffunder, Husqvarna Ty Tremaine, KTM Max Gerston, Beta Cooper Abbott, Yamaha Kyle Redmond, Husqvarna Noah Kepple, GasGas Wally Palmer, KTM Ty Cullins, Beta Tyler Kinkade, KTM Cody Miller, Kawasaki Quinn Wentzel, Husqvarna Joan Pau Segura, GasGas Webb opened a ten-point lead over Haaker (101 to 91) with three events remaining. Hart holds third with 78, Redmond is fourth with 69 and Tremaine is fifth with 66 points. Canada’s Shelby Turner took her third win of the season in the Women’s class. This was perhaps her easiest win yet as she led every lap despite one tip over in one of the tricky rock turns. Beta’s Morgan Tanke came out on top of a great battle with KTM’s Kacy Martinez to take second. Martinez had crashed on lap one and recovered to nearly take second. Shelby Turner (center), Morgan Tanke (right) and Kacy Martinez (left) earned the Women’s class podium potions on the tough Reno course. Photography: Tanner Yeager Destry Abbott took another Vet class win on his Purvines, DA8 Yamaha. Canadian Stephen Foord finished second on his Beta and local rider Bill Baldwin rounded out the podium on his KTM. Joel Tonsgard, another Washington local took the Open Amateur main event win on his Beta. Shane Culbertson rode a solid race to take second on his Husqvarna and Kevin Dupuis rounded out the podium on his Husqvarna. In the Amateur B class, Ryan Middleton took the win on his Kawasaki. Max rokosh (Yamaha) and Nick Buechler (KTM) rounded out the podium. Anthony Johnson took another TrialsCross main event win. Jake Lackie and Ronald Ringuette, both Washington residents rounded out the podium. Complete results can be found here: http://endurocross.escoremx.com/class.asp?s=&c=&e=85 You can watch the entire night show on the www.endurocross.com website. 12. We need a thread so that those of us who carry chain saws and other trail working tools, know what needs attention. Along with that, some ice and snow reports would be great to include too. So, if you see a trail blockage, post it up with some good info on where it is, how big the tree is, and maybe even include a photo if you've got a chance. Another good idea might be to post up if you took care of one of the issues posted in this thread. You can't count on most people to get off their bike/quad and move a fallen tree that can be moved without a saw. There are far to many trenches going around logs that could just be rolled off the trail, so the faster we can address it, the better we can keep the trail system.
  13. Was thinking about doing this, anyone else?

  20. I'm new around these parts. Looking to find some hare scrambles/races of any sort. Google and this site have only found an MX track that popped up about two hours south of here, "Fossil Bowl." Looks good for MX, I do have a crusty CR125 that I can run. Might take a whack at it, probably D class on the MX track (I've cleared some doubles, gotten a good rhythm a time or two but never raced MX) My total racing experience only includes a couple of harescrambles in C class back down south. Its hard to beat that adrenaline rush you get when you're on the line. Motors revving, the smell of two stroke oil and dirt.... for me its not about winning but about just running the race. I'm literally finding zero information on any nearby hare scramble races/woods races. Might just be par for the course up here as there aren't a lot of people around these parts. There are a lot of dirtbikes though... Any thoughts? WA MT included- if its within two hours of Coure D Alene.
  21. If you see a tree down that's blocking a trial or creating a sketchy bypass, post it up on this thread and hopefully some lunatic with a dirt bike wielding a chainsaw will see it and take care of it when they have a chance. Post a picture if you can. It'll help to determine the size of saw required. ALSO, if you read of a blockage and fix it, let us know you took care of it so we don't haul a saw around while we ride all day for no reason. That sucks. I haven't seen any updates in a while on trail conditions at Walker, so I'll post what I know. As of Monday, anything not blocked by snow was open. I cut out the tree partially blocking Tooler. Someone else got the big one on Cavanaugh that broke the bridge railing. - Curt's and some of SMC are closed for logging - DNR was up there draining the lakes from JAM Trail
  22. Has anyone bee up to Reiter lately? Is it free of snow yet? Thanks in advance.
  23. Every once and while I throw together a "Moto Moment" video, usually a short minute or so video from some specific singletrack trail out in the Pacific Northwest. Here's my latest, please like, share, and subscribe if you enjoy it!
  24. Does anyone ride in the area? I'm not a huge fan of meeting people online, but it's probably better than the alternative. I'm a fairly new rider and beginning to roam out further. Up until now I've only ridden alone. I figure it would be a good idea to have others along going forward.
