Great value. Could use more power and better suspension, but for the price it is more than properly setup.

My first bike. Nothing to compare it to. Proven design, parts are plentiful and fairly reasonable. Easy to work on. Performance is very good with 3x3 mod and JD kit. Dated styling. A little heavy.

Picked up this little bike for $825 still registered but it had been dropped once or 10 times so it needed a good tidy up, 2 weeks later I had the tank repainted to match the new fairing kit, Lots of goodies to tidy it up also It is now a nice little bike, & a damn fast little bike too> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CBR250#cite_note-Ash2011-3 Fitting a KOSO DB-02R speedo setup, I will get some pics when it is completed

Just got a rm 250 I was told it is jetted real lean for elevation 5000 ft he thought it was about 165 I'm going to ride at elevation 1500 ft ish what adjustments should I make?
  16. Just got the TT store FCR39mx kit. Installed the high clearance choke and flex jet screw. Here are the issues I'm having at this point with this setup. 07 S model, CW 434, MRD/SSW corked, stock head, triple layer base gasket. Elevation 2000ft. Range 1500ft-6000ft. with majority between 2500ft & 5000ft. 200 maj 150 main EMR needle 3rd clip 45 pilot pilot air removed 2 turns out on fuel screw Idle 1700 Bike fired right up with choke on as it's about 45 degrees out and raining. Once warmed up I turned off the choke and achieved desired idle speed. Gentle roll on of throttle responded well but has hanging idle Aggressive blip of throttle kills engine almost immediately. Checked the adjustment of throttle cable slack and I'm good there. Not sure step to take next. Sure would like to go for a rain ride though so help quick. LOL
  17. Hello, I just recently purchased a 2007 yz250 two stroker. Unfortunately the guy I bought it from was horrible with the maintenance on it. I took out the air filter and it was bone dry with dust literally poofing off of it. To my dismay, the boot had a good amount of dust and sand around the sides! Any suggestions on what I should do from here and damage I should expect? Thank you By the way he said it has about 30hours on it, which I belive from the overall cosmetics of it.
