Putting a paddle tire on your offroad vehicle for use in loose sand is one of the easiest things you can do to fully utilize your power in loose sand. It is a small investment to make, and is worth it even if you only visit the dunes every so often. Paddle tires, or sand tires, are strictly for use in very loose packed sand, such as wide dunes. Using them in areas with hard packed sand or dirt, or (worse yet) pavement, will shred the edges of your paddles within a matter of feet, seriously damaging their usefulness. Dunlop may or may not still makes these tires, as of right now they cannot be found online.

Where a Trials tire falls short in braking and lose soil conditions, the Shinko 505 “Cheater” bridges that gap to make it the ultimate hybrid off-road tire. It's so good that “it’s almost like cheating”. Features: > New hybrid hard enduro / extreme single track trail tire finds traction in the most extreme conditions > Best of both worlds, soft sticky rubber compound like the Trail Pro trials tire in a knobby tread pattern to work in a wider variety of soil conditions > Adds confidence even in the most demanding terrain

PRODUCT DETAILS The Dunlop Geomax® MX32™ tire is the result of intense R&D testing. Building upon the achievements of its predecessors (including the popular MX31), the MX32 is poised to continue Dunlop’s repeated success. It has already been proven over and over again in supercross and motocross. Now it’s ready to be proven by every rider. After years of refinement, the Geomax MX32 has been modified to the ideal condition for consumer use. What does this mean for you? Do you love to hit the trails for a weekend of fun? Do you enjoy hitting the track whenever you can? Regardless of your riding style, you’ll find that MX32 tires offer premium grip in soft-to-intermediate terrain. And here’s the best part: It comes at a price that anyone with a dirt bike can afford. (And to be quite honest, the MX32 tire is so versatile that you might be surprised at how well it handles on hard terrain as well.) Much of Dunlop’s MX32 success has to do with the patented block-within-a-block technology utilized on the rear tire. This revolutionary design allows the tire to grip where other motorcycle tires merely slide, providing incredible traction around turns. Dunlop calls this Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT). The MX32 tires also sport Dunlop’s enhanced Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS). The carcass has been refined to be more flexible and predictable. This is particularly improved with strategically placed recesses along the rear tire’s carcass. Traction is of little use if a rider can’t reliably predict how a tire will respond. That’s why the MX32 tire excels so impressively. Everything about the MX32 leads to better performance, from small variations in the tire’s knobs to their distribution across the tire. It grips phenomenally. It provides a strikingly reliable contact patch. And it works hand-in-hand with your suspension. Take a look at some of the impressive stats for each tire: REAR DUNLOP GEOMAX MX32 TECHNOLOGY: Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT): This is a Dunlop-patented block-within-a-block design that offers more progressive cornering action and aids in slide control. Enhanced Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS): Tuned carcass flexibility from recesses placed strategically along the tire carcass helps smooth ride characteristics and allows the motorcycle to follow a line more accurately. Controlled-rebound Rubber Element in the Sidewall: This construction helps to damp out bounce, acting as a suspension component within the tire so that it can better follow the track surface. Multiple Block Distribution: By varying the pitches and angles of the tire blocks, fewer blocks are needed in the center area, and this enhances contact feel. Elimination of Tie-bar Design: Because the MX32 is intended for use in soft-to-intermediate terrain, the tie bars have been eliminated to reduce the resistance toward bending within blocks. This enhances contact feel and performance in sandy and muddy conditions. FRONT DUNLOP GEOMAX MX32 TECHNOLOGY: New Directional Tread Pattern: This offers great traction and steering feel for a wide range of riders who have differing riding styles. Enhanced Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS): Tuned carcass flexibility offers enhanced feel and steering accuracy. Staggered Middle Blocks: Alternating mid-shoulder knobs in the MX32 have been angled differently and are sized differently to add side grip and promote light, responsive steering while being less prone to grabbing in ruts. Elimination of Tie-bar Design: The tie bars have been eliminated to reduce the resistance toward bending within blocks. This enhances steering feel and promotes stability in muddy conditions. Chiseled Shoulder Block: Derived from the Geomax MX31, this chiseled block shape penetrates the surface to enhance side grip. Newly Improved Knob Placement and Angling: This reduces knob stress. The Dunlop Geomax MX32 tire features cutting-edge technology with tried-and-tested design principles. If you want a tire that will perform at a pro level, look no further than the MX32. Pick up a set today. You’ll never look back.

  11. new 2021 Xr650l, threw a fritzco sprocket (kept the 15t) it’s great on and off trail. Plus pro taper atv highs SE (7/8) ., looking for a good tank, leaning towards acerbis. But Haven’t seen much of the ims. Also what other mods could we make to improve the longevity of the bike? this bike is only for off-roading and the occasional John Conner rips 😂 thanks!

The Dunlop MX12 Geomax tire is designed for soft-terrain applications, the MX12 excels in extreme sand and mud conditions. Innovative tread pattern includes V-Block technology that increases traction, and does a better job clearing the tire in muddy conditions to maintain maximum performance. Tread pattern includes Dunlop’s exclusive block-within-a-block Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) in the rear for enhanced cornering traction and slide control. Recessed flex joints between tread blocks improve compliance for enhanced traction and ride comfort. If the terrain is varied with a lot of tight single trails and likely to be wet, loose and varied through all extremes, Tractionator® Enduro is a wise choice. Excels on steep hill climbs and tight twisting single trails where the bike needs to change direction quickly. It is sure footed on rocky steep declines and heavy braking situations. The rear uses unique patented outer block angles that work to wedge with the terrain, creating drive and lift over obstacles and rutted out rocky hill climbs. Tractionator® Enduro gives superior grip for late braking and tight cornering. Tractiontor Enduro I/T is designed to be brother to the Tractionator Enduro S/T series. The design intent gives riders a consistent tyre feel and behavior when switching between the S/T and the I/T - like when moving from Winter (S/T ) where maximum wet grip is paramount to Summer (I/T) where a wider variety of conditions and longer wear need to be covered. Designed for use in conditions 50% Dry - 50% Wet 50% Hard - 50% Soft
