  1. Who wants to bet me $100 Cooper Webb vs Tomac? I get Tomac. I'm so sick of these one line get the start and you are good tracks in SX. Men take MX titles, SX doesn't matter to real fans unless you douche. I guarantee Webb can't stick to Tomac or Roczen through a entire outdoor title. This coming from a guy who loves Webb. First come, first serve. Change my mind. In other words man up or shut up.
  2. AP talks about the factory yz450. AP talks about himself
  3. Not sure if this is the right place on this forum to ask, but most that read this section (I assume) ride and race motocross as well and could offer some insight. I broke two ribs on Sunday, how long before you are good to ride again? No surgery needed or anything, but seeing as simply breathing sucks right now, I thought I'd ask...figuring some of you have had the injury before. Thanks!
  4. I have heard rumors and being that the MXGPs are canceling one race after another while we are full go to drop the gates with full attendance....... Could it be true? Can we get Geiser too????!!!!
  5. @Irwin M. Fletcher got me thinking about epic rides like Marty Moats at Carlsbad in 1980 and Johnny O'mara at the 1980 125 USGP. What are some others? I believe RC once lapped the entire field. Hannah's 1987 MXoN ride was one hell of a swan song. Magoo winning all 4 motos of the MdN and TdN too. Pomeroy's Spanish GP win was a pretty big deal but when he told the story it sounded more like Keystone Cops. JS7 coming from last on the 125?
  6. Who’s coming out on top at Southwick?? I’m picking Tomac in the 450’s, and Jett in the 250’s.
  7. Plessinger being recalled to Team Piggy 🐷... Wagonator looking to go with him? Jmart on Austrian bike? Let The Games Begin
  8. Seems like more than one brand ,others are saying the Yamaha are having chain issues as well
  9. Does anyone know if I need to buy parking tickets if I'm riding a motorcycle in?
  10. Hmmm... no Webb bashing here. Dude killed it in sx but his mechanic put an anchor on his out door bike.😂😂😂😂
  11. It's the teammate and more importantly, the family like atmosphere under that tent. They are all like best buds, racing each other clean (so far), exchanging ideas between racers and mechanics, talking about track lines, suspension set ups, celebrating birthdays, watching race video, celebrating with each other on great results. Then we have the other teams where they all go into their own motor homes and only talk to their trainers. Am I off with this and how will ET fit in with that type of environment?
  12. Daytona is considered by many to be the Premier Supercross event of the year - nothing against Anaheim or any other event. That said, what's considered to be the premier Outdoor Motocross event?? Lot's of contenders but none really stand out as the "if you can only make one race this year, you gotta make this race". This years contenders: Fox Raceway - Pala CA. Thunder Valley - Lakewood, CO High Point – Mt Morris, PA Southwick – Southwick MA Red Bud – Buchanan, MI Spring Creek – Millville, MN Washougal – Washougal, WA Unadilla – New Berlin, NY Budds Creek – Mechanicsville, MD Ironman – Crawfordsville, IN Pala – Pala, CA Hangtown – Sacramento, CA
  13. Sexton and Plessinger passing their buddies
  14. Jason Weigandt stopped to visit Chad Reed's new public track in Statesville, North Carolina, Moto 40 MX (@moto40mx). Chad's goal is a family-friendly riding park with a kid's track, an intermediate track, and a larger expert track that's still safe. There are trails in the woods, too. Chad is also building a supercross track in the corner for himself! Chad hopes to have the track open for Easter Weekend. Weigandt and Olympic BMX Champion Connor Fields came to check out Chad and his mechanic Ben spin some laps.
  15. Just came across this and found it pretty funny

  17. Product Spotlight: Alpinestars Tech 7 Boots These days expensive protective equipment saturate the market, but Alpinestars has a motocross boot that offers high dollar protection with high end quality at the average man’s price. I have worn the Sidi Crossfire 2, Garne SG-10, SG-12, and Alpinestars Tech 10 boots. While these top-line boots all share impressive features my favorite is the Alpinestars Tech 7, with the low retail price of $349. Once Western Power Sports became a distributor for Alpinestars I immediately tested the Tech 10 against the Tech 7 boots. My initial thought was I would prefer the highest priced boot, the Tech 10. While this boot is amazing, I felt like I could literally jump off the roof and have no ankle injuries (not recommended), I struggled with the lack of flexibility. I am 6’4” and have suffered many foot and ankle injuries throughout the years, the most recent was a ruptured Achilles’ tendon. I tend to look for boots that offer support and protection, yet allow me the freedom to ride comfortably and the Tech 7 meets this criteria. If I was riding AMA Supercross I would opt for the Tech 10, but for me and my Vet B riding level the Tech 7 is heaven on my feet! Look for both the Tech 7 and Tech 10 boots available in the TT store. /shop/cart.php?m=search_results&c=&catID=4443&v=&id=&venID=&attrList=&manuf=1602&priceFilter=&sortBy=PriceHiLo&search=Tech+7&sort=5&asc=desc&page=2 KEY FEATURES • New dual compound sole is seamlessly integrated into the base structure for superior durability and features high performing rubber grip patterning and enhanced feel. 18. Webb seemed really frustrated / relieved on the podium at Ironman. That bike has been holding Webb and Marv back most of the summer. Why would Roger force such a turd on his factory riders? Wouldn't you think he's aware what McCarty did to the blue 450? I wonder what @KTMRider4Life thinks about this?
  19. This weekends race is at Jonathan Beasly’s epic Maryland track. So let’s get the wheels rolling on who will be the dominant one. Will KRoc continue to chip away at Ferrandis’s points lead? Will BamBam return to action and shake things up? Is AP7 healthy enough to race? And in the 250’s, will Jett steal more points from Justin Cooper, or will Cooper say enough is enough and lead from the drop of the gate to the checkers? Can JMart return to his winning ways?
  20. Who are the greatest racers to never win a US AMA National title? Windham? Bradshaw? Townley? Musquin? Pomeroy?
  21. I want the best experience for friends and hopefully new MX fans! Show up at 0730 or just before the racing starts at 1000? Best place to park? Ease of Parking entrance and exit? Get there early for choice of parking or late and easy exit? Cost of parking? What else would be good to know? Thank you!
  22. https://motocrossactionmag.com/breaking-news-shane-mcelrath-signs-with-rocky-mountain-ktm-team/ BREAKING NEWS! SHANE MCELRATH SIGNS WITH ROCKY MOUNTAIN KTM TEAM Big news was released on Thursday evening by the Rocky Mountain KTM team that they have signed Shane McElrath to their 450 Supercross/motocross team for the 2022 season. Read below for the full press release: Payson, UT (Aug. 5, 2021) – The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC- KTM – WPS team is excited to announce the signing of #12 Shane McElrath. McElrath will contest in the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Series and the 2022 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Nationals in the premier 450 class. At 26 years of age, McElrath was a rookie this past 2021 season in the 450SX class. A rider with much success in the 250 class both indoors and out, (6 career AMA 250SX wins and 2 career AMA 250MX wins under his belt, along with being the runner up twice in the AMA 250SX West Coast Championship), he is ready to show his skills in the premier class full time. “We are excited to bring Shane onto the team for the 2022 racing season, and we are so for many reasons. We as a team have a lot of changes in store for 2022, and Shane fits the mold for a lot of them. Professional SX and MX racing is changing, the top 10 in the 450 class has become like the top 10 in the NASCAR Cup Class. The sport is exploding, there are so many good guys, we are all having to adjust and Shane is a rider that not only believes in himself, he believes in our Team. We are actually two guys that have watched each other for a long time now from opposite sides, and have always wanted to work together. Shane has and shows a tremendous amount of respect for our Team and Sponsors, and I personally have watched him do just that with teams he has ridden for in the past. At the same time, he has worn the Red Plate before, and he knows what he wants and expects out of himself on the race track. We are excited, and ready!”, says team co-owner Forrest Butler. Upon the signing of his new deal, this is what McElrath had to say, “I’m super excited for the opportunity to join the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC – KTM -WPS team. I feel like I’m getting the chance to work alongside some great people, people that are focused on the same goals as myself. My wife and I are very thankful for this Team believing in me, and we are looking to start working and building for the 2022 season now. See you all at Anaheim 1!”. Overall, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC – KTM – WPS team is excited for this new addition to our team. We have come a long way over the past 18 years with the Team, and we definitely have some unfinished business and goals we still want to reach. That said, we feel strongly that Shane McElrath is a racer that is ready to help us go get it!
