Return Policy

Your complete satisfaction is our #1 priority. We understand that purchasing on-line is sometimes difficult without being able to touch and feel the product. Because of this, we offer several return options to insure your shopping experience with us is a pleasant one.

To request a RMA (return authorization number):

  • Click here  to request a RMA. After you request a RMA, we will send you return instructions by e-mail.

We offer the following return options:

  • Returns will not be accepted without a RMA (return authorization number).
  • Returns due to our error or on products that are defective from the manufacturer will gladly be returned or exchanged without a restocking fee.
  • Products being returned must be shipped freight pre-paid; no COD's. (If the return is due to our error or product defect, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label where available.)
  • Shipments refused by the customer are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • If your order originally qualified for and was shipped free, shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount if the return causes your order total to drop below the required minimum for free shipping.
  • Refunds must be issued to the original payment method used. If the original payment method is not available, a store credit will be issued.
  • Aftermarket Parts
    • Items may be returned for exchange or store credit equal to 100% of the purchase price (less shipping). The item must be in new, resalable, unused condition and in its original packaging.
    • Items may also be returned for a refund (less shipping) within 15 days from when your order was placed. A 20% restocking fee may apply to certain items.
    • Riding gear (helmets, boots, pads, etc.), apparel, and clothing may only be returned for exchange, or store credit.
  • OEM Parts
    • Item must be in original, unopened factory packaging
    • Items may be returned for exchange, store credit or refund (less shipping) within 15 days from when your order was placed.
    • A 20% restocking fee will apply to all OEM returns.
    • OEM parts under $15.00 can not be returned. This is a requirement set by the OEM manufacturers and is outside of our control.

Why do we charge restocking fees on some items?

For OEM parts we return all parts to the manufacturer. In doing so, we incur the cost of returning the items to the manufacturer along with a restocking fee the manufacturer charges us. We cover the cost of returning the item to the manufacturer, however we must pass along a portion of the manufacturer restock fees to our customers.

For aftermarket parts, we try to avoid charging restock fees whenever possible (which is most of the time). In some cases, the item you are returning may not be a popular selling item and we must return it to the manufacturer, as we can not keep items in our stock that do not sell on a regular basis. Many manufacturers allow us to return items in good condition without restocking fees, however if the manufacturer does charge us a restocking fee, we must pass that cost on to our customers. Also, if the packaging has been opened or damaged we must return it to the manufacturer to be inspected and repackaged, in which case they charge us a fee to repackage the item.

We do not accept returns on:

  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.
  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, used, or is missing parts.
  • Special order, closeout, or discontinued products.
  • Electrical products.
  • Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, or video game that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap).
  • Products that were originally delivered via e-mail or download.

International returns:

  • In addition to the policies above, international product returns MUST include the following statement clearly written on the return parcel:

  • ThumperTalk will stand behind all products we sell with regards to manufacturing defects in workmanship and material. Most products are limited to the manufacturer's warranty. However, we will do everything in our power to take care of the problem.
