I have a 1974 G4TR 100 that is running really well but I'm still having a problem with it running lean. Plug is on the very light brown nearing white and I am getting a lean bog at higher rmps when loaded down. Is it not getting enough gas or is the oil pump not dumping enough oil in? I've set the oil pump to the richer side of the mark. Any suggestions would be appreciated cheers.

Hello everyone, I am new here so i apologize if there is already a topic about the Honda MT250 Elsinore dirt bike. I am just now starting a restoration on my 1976 MT250 Elsinore and I am trying to go through the bike now and see what is re usable and what ill need to replace. Im having trouble finding a good source for parts, possibly because they are now hard to find? im not sure, but i was hoping someone could shed some light on this. Im pretty sure my wiring harness is shot, and needs to either be remade or replaced if i can find a new remake of it. I also know ill be needed new bushings, seals, chain etc.... One more question! haha........ My bike doesnt currently have lights or a speedometer ( im not sure if it ever did, or if it was removed). Do i need to do any upgrades to the electrical system to add lights and a speedometer? Any info would be greatly appreciated

I’m building a street tracker from a seond frame I had of a ‘75 XL350, making huge progress but I’m having real trouble finding a motor for the bike. I would like to keep it semi original as far as mechanics but I can’t find a complete XL350 motor anywhere. So my question is, are there any other motors of the same size or a little greater that would fit the frame nicely without modification? Ideally using the same mounting points. I have another XL350 that’s running but I would only pull this motor as a last resort. Any help is appreciated guys! Thanks

Alright so my plan is to add a 2.15 x 18 (stock rear) wheel to the front of my bike. Original tire is 4.00 x 18. My simple question is can I fit 4.10 x 18’s on both the front and rear of this bike. I love this look and I can’t find any answers that are straight forward thus far. If this (4.10 x 18 tire) setup won’t work for the front, what would be the largest tire I could mount to this wheel that would match the rear the closest without mill work done to the forks. Thanks in advance guys!

I’m looking to drop in a motor for the ol 75 XL350 custom job I have going but before I do I was hoping to find out if there’s a specific motor that will fit nicely in the frame with no modification. I’m looking for greater than or equal to the 350cc displacement. It could be a newer year as long as it fits the ‘75 frame. CB360?? I’d like to keep it to a Honda motor if at all possible. Having real trouble finding another 75 XL350 motor anywhere. eBay, vintage bike pages, even Facebook marketplace! No luck so far in the last 45+ days. Any advice is helpful!
