  1. The RM125 seems to be in good condition. It has recently had a full engine rebuild. My CR85R is in good condition and I just rebuilt my top end and put a new rear shock and wheel assembly on it. Do you all think this would be a good trade and why or why not?
  2. After a 3rd in Erzberg last week he came back to win in the Dominican Republic this week for the Machete Hard Enduro against Jarvis , Walker, Gomez and Mario Roman. Jarvis had a mix up Gomez in the night race
  3. I got a question. I own a 2016 KX 85. It ran amazing after it first bought it used. I was riding one day with a bogging issue and about 35 minutes of riding I shut it off to take a break. Came back 20 minutes later and it would not start.I changed the spark plug, cleaned out the carb, checked the reeds, and tried hill starting it but nothing .When ever I try to hill start it I can hear it trying to crank and It starts for like half a second but then dies. There is spark coming from the plug though.I took the cylinder off and the piston and cylinder are &%$#@!ed.The piston rings were stuck in the grooves and I had to use pliers and a screwdriver to get it out. There was a ton of blow-by and the cylinder was scored.I bought a new piston already but how can I fix my cylinder.Im thinking of getting it repaired and replayed by either millennium,PowerSeal USA, or usnicom. This is my first time owning a 2 stroke.Any answers or tips.
  4. I got a question. I own a 2016 KX 85. It ran AMAZING after it first bought it used and was in beautiful condition and I picked it up for only 2500. I was riding when all of a sudden it started bogging down right before the power band.i don’t think it’s jetting because the bogging just turned on like a switch and it was running perfect before it. The bike was like that for a month. Apparently the previous owner never oiled the filter so it was dry as a rock and was falling apart and got sucked into to the intake so I’m guessing my power valve is gummed up or stuck close or open. I was riding one day with the bog issue and about 35 minutes of riding I shut it off to take a break. Came back 20 minutes later and it would not start.I changed the spark plug, cleaned out the carb, checked the reeds, and tried hill starting it but nothing. When ever I try to hill start it I can hear it trying to crank and It starts for like half a second but then dies.I don’t remember if I left the fuel petcock on but what I’m guessing is that I flooded the engine and tried starting which messed up my electronics. The reason why I think I flooded the Engine is because when I took off the reeds the intake manifold and reed were soaked in gas.I heard that starting the engine while flooded can mess with a woodruff key or your CDI or something. There is spark coming from the plug though. And yes I mix the gas with oil at 32:1 cause I’m in the pipe all the time. This is my first time owning a 2 stroke.Any answers or tips.
  5. 1. What is your skill Level (be honest)? • Novice 2. What's your height & weight? 6’1, 160lbs 3. What year, make, & model of motorcycle are you coming from? And, what do you want the new bike to do better? 1980 yz80. I want a bigger bike(seat and engine wise). 4. What's your ballpark budget? Up to 5k, looking to buy early 2000’s bike 5. What types of terrain will you be riding? Trails and service roads 6. Will you be racing or just play riding? Hopefully racing
  6. Let me know what you guys think I’m having a acceleration problem it feels like all the power there , runs perfectly fine 1-3 gear but when I punch it an give her the beans she bogs out big time as if I ran out of gas. Does this sound like I need a carb cleaning , carb tune , or what idk let me know what y’all think. Need Advice Before I Start Tearing The Thing Apart❗️.
  7. I just purchased a 2020 TE 250i with 6 hours on it. The guy I bought it from seemed like he had more money than sense. He sold it to me for 8k. He bought it in 2020 at the start of the pandemic and 2 bikes for his kids. He was selling all 3 because they only went riding once. The guy rode it once and basically pulled it in the shop and it sat, he didn’t even wash the dirt off. I got it home and cleaned it up. It looks brand new at this point. I just went for a ride at the local ORV park. It ran perfect from the time I went and picked it up all the way through a few hour ride on the single track. I went back to the truck turned it off and ate lunch. After lunch it cranked but wouldn’t start. I pulled the plug and it was indeed fouled. I stopped and grabbed new plugs on the way home and swapped it out. It started but was running really rough at first. The idol was low and it was producing a small amount of white smoke from the tail pipe. I figured I would just take it to the Ride Motorsports and have them look at it. After washing the bike and putting it back together (I pulled the tank to get to the plug and look at every connection point) it started perfectly and was running normal. It almost felt like a loose ground (erratic idol) or stator issue. If the bike just sat for 2 years without washing or storing properly could that cause the plug to foul? The weird thing was it ran perfect before the ORV park. Could this be an intermittent sensor issue? I don’t have any blinking lights or anything. Not sure why the bike would be running rich enough to foul the plug. I’m going to ride it around my area for a few hours when I have some time to see if it comes back or continues to foul plugs. One thing I did notice is the map switch looked a little damaged. I definitely used both maps as it was my first time on the bike and I wanted to play. If that map switch was damaged and was putting out resistance somehow could that cause any issues? Anyone had a TPI bike behave like this? Thanks any advice is appreciated. This is my first TPI bike.

  10. Hey so I’m 5’4 140 pounds and I was wondering if a Yamaha blaster was right for me. I was going to buy a dirt bike but realized quads are better. I’ve been riding a Yamaha raptor 80 quad for about 5 years now. And now that I’m 13 I need a upgrade. I have no experience with a manual clutch but I understand the whole concept and way to use it. So I was wondering if the blaster is the ATV for me. Thanks and plz help ?
  11. Hey, I recently bought a 2003 YZ 125 in great condition. I rode for past few days and the last couple i’ve noticed almost no power in 1st and 2nd. There’s no power-band feel to it either, you know the power-band reving noise and tue power boost. It just sits and stutters and goes stititititititiiti. Once i hit 3rd gear the thing takes off like a bat out of hell and 4th and 5th. I’ve looked around on the forums and read deep into it and the closest thing i found was someone with the same problem and they said they replaced the plastic thing holding the main jet needle in the carb. Idk if that could be it. I run 32:1 but i assumed the person didn’t re jett the carb for it so i bought new #410Main jets for it and am keeping the stock needle but moving it to a different position. I’m new to engines but know my basics. I’m not 100% confident i can take the carb off the dirtbike and fix this and put it back on. Idk if i will damage anything. My dirtbike also just drops oil out of the gas a bunch. It also blows smoke the whole ride even after really warmed up. I think that means i’m running it rich? How do I fix this without messing up my engine or any other component severely. (Step by step clearly) Thanks, Urgent help.
  12. The AMA (American Motorcycle Association) Supercross Official Rules and Regulations state that the intent of a rule will be determined by competent officials. Following the second 2020 Monster Energy Supercross race in Anaheim, I couldn't help but wonder. How competent are they really? Section A2 under general offenses and penalties says that actions that are deemed detrimental to the sport of motorcycle racing and which may result in a range of disciplinary actions 'Race Direction' may disqualify any participant or motorcycle from the balance of a race meet for violation of certain rules, insubordination or other actions deemed in the sole discretion of 'Race Direction' to be detrimental to the race meet and the sport. One of the those rules, specifically rule 22 on page 57 clearly states that any deliberate overly aggressive riding vengeful riding and/or careless riding leading to an adverse result. This does not include incidental or unintentional contact. Let's go back a bit and look at the history books shall we. David Vuillemin and Stephen Roncada in 2002 having a nasty battle on track including some aggressive and dirty block passes, leading up to Stephen accelerating up to David's bike, and slamming into his back tire only to have David immediately retaliate by open handed smacking Roncada on his helmet with zero repercussions. On the very first lap of the season opener in 2004 the world witnessed a beautiful block pass by Kevin Windham on David Vuillemin, sending Vuillemin flying into the tuff blocks later resulting in Kevin being deducted 10 points from his standings which may have cost him the Championship, as we later go on to see that Chad Reed won that year. Just because they have smaller cc's doesn't mean they have smaller balls, and we witnessed that as 125cc riders Ryan Mills and Steve Mertons (also in 04' season) literally turned a corner of the Supercross track into an MMA octagon ring as they punched and even body slammed each other before race officials had to separate the two spartans. Not to be outdone, the 250 class also drew blood as Brad Langton went after privateer Jimmy Wilson post race showing him that he took his after school Taekwondo classes very seriously as a kid. The list can go on and on, but where is the line drawn in the sand? Why were these guys not punished? Why was Kevin Windham deducted 10 points for a 'deliberate and vengeful' block pass that mentioned before, could have ultimately cost him the championship that year? Okay fine, times were different back then and times have certainly changed. But have they? Let us take a look at how the AMA dealt with the Dylan Ferrandis on Christian Craig incident this year at Anaheim two. Was this incidental? or was this intentional and vengeful riding leading to an adverse result as stated in the rules and regulations? Or was this just good old fashioned "I want to win" racing? There are many factors to consider when one is racing through a track at a pace so fast that my own grandmother has trouble understanding what is happening on the TV screen, and although we must first protect the riders you can't squeeze the orange without getting some pulp in your cup. In other words, you can't take the racing out of racing. I would very much understand if Christian Craig was seriously injured after making contact with Ferrandis he picks his bike right up and starts riding again. If the AMA has to issue a 12-month probation period on Dylan Ferrandis for making a pass to win the race, mark my words this sport will soon turn into a no contact badminton match in our near future. Heck, that might be even more interesting to watch, instead of a bunch of riders tip toeing around a track, careful not touch ones sponsors stickers on the side of their bikes.
  13. Time to buy a new bike and wondering what would be better for me, a yz125 or a yz250 2 stroke? I’ve been stuck on a Kawasaki klx140g and have outgrown in and want something with more power, I’m 15 6’2 and around 150ish. I’ve been riding for 2 years so not a beginner but surely not a pro. I do mostly trail riding and will hit the track once and awhile. I also do a whole bunch of riding on the sidewalks and pavement around my city too. Thank you! (also if you have any other recommendations for other 2 stroke brands let me know not strict to yamaha) also based on 2021-2022 models

  16. Clutch advice needed! I have 05YZ125 and the bikes run great but stalls as soon as I put in gear. The clutch feels great but somehow fiber and plates seems to be sticking together enough that when you pull in the clutch handle they all move as a unit. No matter how I adjust the handle you can get the rear wheel to rotate when in gear with the clutch level pulled all the way. The clutch was great last year when I put the bike up for the winter. I have changed the oil and even taken the pressure plate off and look at all the pads and plates. They looked a little dry. I put them all through oil in a bag like I would if they were brand new. No difference. HELP. I thinking I just need to ride it and warm it up thoroughly and it should be alright. Thoughts.
