Nice little pony. Excellent for beginners and more forgiving than bigger bikes. Got it brand and haven't done major mod's to it yet. Brakes could be better - but for slow and technical sections they are adequate.
  9. KTM just posted this video yesterday. But I'd like to ask what everyone thinks about this bike?? What are your opinions, as I do not feel it to be a replacement to our gas engines. But there are a lot of places that you could go riding and take these electric bikes that you would not be able to go with a traditional gas powered engine.
  10. Hi I am based in the UK and have been interested by the new Ktm 350 freeride- for the riding here and in the mountains I think it would be ideal. However it is not only very expensive but I have heard of numerous problems with them from owners. It got me to thinking about trying to build a custom version, in the same vein as this style of bike. Spec as I see it: Road legal Full size wheels(18/21) Enduro/trials tyres (trials rear tyre?) Decent adjustable suspension Low stand over height Quiet exhaust Disc brakes 4stroke or two stroke motor? Extreme Enduro/freeride focused I don't want to go down the route of making a 'pit bike' or minimoto, but think that a smaller bike as the donor would be an option- such as TTR, Crf150/230 I am looking at the crf230 as possible best option- road registered, conversions possible to big wheels, motocross suspension, bore out to 250cc and tune engine for some more grunt? Change swing arm to crf150(?) disc brakes etc Keen to hear views on this project and any other ideas on donor frames/engines? Trying to tread the line between a bike that rides well in technical terrain but doesn't look like an adult riding a child's bike... Keen to hear Thoughts?

Pacific northwest gnarly single track mountain goat. Mandatory mods: Rekluse clutch, de-restricted exhaust & intake & ECU map, JD FI tuner, bigger brakes.
