Whats up guys So I've done a stupid amount of searching today just to have no luck at all. I don't know if I am just blind or if I'm actually not crazy, but I have been trying to find a graphics kit to fit my specific bike for at least a week. I am just stumped. So I bought my bike with the seller telling me it was a EXC. When in all actuality it is a 06 XC (I believe). It doesn't have the same tank design as the EXC and it also states "XC" right in front of the number plate (I know I'm an idiot but I also didn't have much knowledge of the models). I have no problem what so ever finding graphics kits for the same year bike, just none that are made to my bikes body design. Does anyone know of different years or models that have the same body style? I can have a kit custom made, but that just seems like such a waste when I feel as if there has got to be pre-made kits already available. I keep seeing kits like this: http://www.ktmworld.com/product/54808190300.html Which is a beautiful design to the graphics, but the picture that is shown is a EXC model. The XC model looks as though it has more space to cover. I've attached pictures of both the 2006 models. The XC and EXC and you can tell the XC has a lot more plastic to cover and different angles. Has anyone ever run into this problem? Does the graphics kit come ready to fit the XC and need to be cut or "modded" to fit the EXC? Any help would be appreciated!!!

2006 KTM 525 XC New Tires. Posting this for a friend. He says he is getting older and the bike is too fast for him. It has an auxiliary oil cooler installed that was $400 brand new. Bike must be sold soon because it is taking up space in the shop so it must go!! Call if you have any questions or would like to set up a meeting to view the bike at the shop. I was punching in my usual search keywords "ktm exc" and I stumbled acrosss a poor quality image in a advert only words in the whole ad were "ktm 525 for sale, like new, licenced" couldn't tell much from the single grainy photo of pretty much just the headlight and front guard so I thought hmm this guys obviously a man of few words I'll send the dude a message asking for some better photos turns out he was a good bloke, turns out he was well into his fifties with a buggered elbow and just not into typing on the internet. So he sent me through some more photos of the bike and HOLY COW he wasn't wrong this thing really this IS like brand new twenty something hours on the clock of what only had to be Riding On the road so next available time i was in the car and headed to pick it up $3500 later I had test ridden and loaded her up on the trailer and I was away a very happy man . Now up till this point id never ridden a 525 and wasn't sure what to expect I have only recently in the last two years made the move from a lifetime of motocross bikes to my 500 exc as I'd decided to get into outback adventure riding . The 525 was amazing to ride it was super smooth and buttery everything was crisp sharp and worked as it should I just loved it . It had a lower seat height than my 500 which was good as I am a bit short in the leg it was just so much fun to ride I do confess it's not as fast and dosent handle as well at speed as the 500 but it out turns the 500 by a long shot in slower stuff and so much fun on banks and hills and other technical terrain and the power is much more gentle perhaps? Maybe more useable? Hard to explain that feeling don't get me wrong I love my 500 it's a weapon but the 500 is all business deadly fast and responsive not as much fun to just go play riding on for some reason, if I was going riding with my faster friends I'd take the 500 every time but if not going long distance or with slower people or in technical terrain the 525 is definitely the bike of choice so initially I set out to buy a cheaper bike for my friend to borrow, something I didn't care if he broke and I could either sell afterwards or keep as a loan bike for other mates to borrow and wound up with a amazing bike I'm protective of now that's made me think maybe I should be giving my 500 to my buddy to ride instead so he dosent scratch this one haha ! I'll include a couple pics of the day I got it and also it parked up with my 500 the only thing I changed is the rear guard to get rid of the big ugly number plate holder
hey guys so i bought this 525exc and has 164 hours and noticed this little hole? been told its a blehm from the factory possible air bubble in casting? just looking for second opinions.... doesnt leak anything yet.... HELP! scared to ride it and have somthing go horribly wrong? also if its a blehm anyway to seal it up so stuff csnt go in there? jb weld? anything? thanks in advance!!!
