My FIRST motorcycle at 46 years of age! Bought this 2015 Yamaha WR250R brand new from the dealer back in Oct 2015 with 4 miles on it. Most of my miles are street and highway but hit the dirt often and whenever I can. Simply love this bike! I'm currently setting it up for Adv Riding and it'll be seeing more of the USA and Canada this and following years. No trailers, no rear carriers.. just me, the bike and the miles we pass.
  4. I would to know if anyone here running a set of s20 evo on their drz. The price on those tires are kinda hard to beat and i need a set soon Mainly using my drz for daily commute to work 25miles a day about 120ish every other weekend twisties
  5. Hi, I used to race in SoCal, in the 80s. I rode the usual tracks, with my home being Saddleback Park. I used the Bridgestone M22 and M23 tires which worked really well on most of the riding conditions in SoCal. Jump forward 30 years and I have just gotten back into riding, and love it as much as ever, but so much has evolved! Looking for new tires, I noticed the old M22/23 line is gone. I have zeroed in on the relatively new Bridgestone X30 Battlecross tires to be about the most similar thing to those great old tires. I know they make a hardpack specific X40, but want slightly more versatility. I love riding on hardback, and also the prelude to hardpack where it is intermediate and kind of loose. Also love just playriding anywhere I can find. Anyone familiar with these tires and how they perform? How do they compare to other popular rubber, like Geomax, etc...Pros, cons, or just general feedback on your experience is really appreciated! Also curious how they measure up in the weight category. Just happy to be back on a bike! Btw, ended up with a beautiful 1988 CR125 that is in perfect shape and runs like the bike I remember!

Plain and simple, I LOVE this bike! Now a little background, I bought this bike brand new. I went from a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600 to this. At first I was not all that impressed, The bike had very little power, I hated the mirrors on it, and I did not like that it was only a 5 speed. Since then I have added a few mods such as a Yoshimura exhaust, Jet kit, And the 3x3 mod. Wow what a difference right there. I cleaned up the tail with the DRC smoked tail light which is intergraded from 12 O Clock labs, changed the handle bars, and put on some hand guards with built in blinkers from tusk. Also got rid of the mirrors. I still wish the bike had a 6th gear but oh well.. My plans are to big bore it and do the act transmission once I have loaded about 10000 miles on the bike. We will see.. For now that's all.. I will keep all updated!
