  1. So I was replacing the crank and piston on my 01 kx250. When I got the bottom end pushed back together I flipped the case over and found I busted the inner case where one of the tranny gear dowels slips in. Is this worth trying to fix or am I better off with a new case?
  2. Hi, I have a 2002 suzuki rm85. It seems to "eat" spark plugs. It starts up easily runs for about 5 seconds, starts to really smoke and then bogs down and stops. It won't start until I clean or change the spark plug. After it stalls, the spark plugs stop working completely. The spark plug comes out wet but not oily and it won't work until you use a wire brush on it. We tried br9es, br8es and br9eix plugs. The bike ran really well, then this started, it seems if you can get it running longer and really rev it out it runs great and won't stall, but as soon as it cools down it becomes impossible to start again. The jets are 125 and 50. The needle is on the second clip and we have tried the air/fuel screw between 1.25 to 2 turns out. It has an fmf fatty pipe and vforce reeds. My Dad and I have cleaned the carb really well, checked the float level and he doesn't think it is the jetting or carb. Any help or input on how to fix it would be appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hi a month ago I broke my lower tibia as a hairline fracture. I am now put from a cast to a boot is the any medical wrap or a way of getting back out on the trails? I am put in the boot for a month. I am 14
  4. Hi everyone, my bike would not start after some investigation/inspection I have noticed there is a crack near the head gasket o ring, where the water transport are, I don't know what to do. Do I have to buy a new cylinder or can this be sent off and be fixed? I'm hoping it can be welded I've only just bought the bike ? it's like one thing after another. Your help would be appreciated thank you
  5. I replaced a broken starter , it cracked the housing below the gear head where it inserts into the motor, after replaced one was in it started right up but on the 8th time of starting this atv up, it beoke again , any ideas of why
  6. I've had this '84 xr350 for over a year now and I still haven't ridden it. I've had a myriad of issues with it and after I've fixed the clutch I think it'll be in riding condition. This bike has had a rough life and the people who have worked on it haven't exactly been kind to it, or maybe they just had no idea what they were doing. The issues with the clutch have been there the whole time I've owned it. At first the clutch was extremely difficult to pull in, it wouldn't budge after the free play in the lever. I cleaned out the cable and still had the same issue. I drained the oil and took the case cover off and took a look at the basket, the plates were all stuck together and seem to be covered in a thick brown sludge, I carefully separated them using a flat aluminium bar. I took off the spring retainer and the springs and found that the inner part of the basket was fused to the outer part, I worked at them until they spun separately, they're still quite tough to spin though. I saw that the main nut holding the clutch assembly together has some dings in it and there's even a corner of it broken off. I don't have a 27mm socket so I can't take it off and fully disassemble the clutch right now. I put the springs back on and tightened them down with the retainer and noticed that if it's all snugged up the springs are almost completely compressed and once I replaced the side cover there was freeplay through the whole clutch until the end where it's really hard to pull and only has a tiny bit of movement and the clutch wouldn't engage. I took it all apart again and loosened the spring retainer so the springs weren't so compressed and put it back together, the clutch felt far better, like a normal clutch, it still didn't engage though. I'm at a bit of a loss. Do I have the wrong springs in there? maybe there are supposed to be spacers so the bolts don't clamp the springs down as far? Has anyone else had similar issues?
  7. Ok so I broke my foot and I wanna keep riding don’t want anything crazy I was on a 250r I can’t afford to break again so lookin for more trail type bikes but still want some power open for 2 or 4 strokes suggestions? I’m 5’8
