I know it's not a husqvarna. It wouldn't let me ad a honda cr125. Anyway this bike may not have any power especially cause it never runs right ? but the way this bike feels is so great that I've promised myself to never sell it.

  8. I'm thinking about buying a 2002 cr125, it needs a new cylinder head and I can't find any online. All I find is older than 02. Do you know which years the cylinder head will fit on a 02 125. The cylinder is in good shape but the head got chewed up a little bit
  9. Anyone have this gear GEAR, MAINSHAFT THIRD (17T) 23441-KZ4-L30 that they would like to sell? Needs to be in very good condition. Used in a 2002 2003 CR125R. Next question is, has anyone used the later gear 23441-KSR-A00 from the 04-07 as a supplement? Some of the gears are the same from 02-07 (some earlier as well) but there were several changes 04 on. The countershaft is also different. Thanks
  10. Hey all! I’m going to look at a bike tomorrow. The guy has it listed as a 1998 CR 125. I’m ok with that, the price is right. It needs some cylinder work but still ok. The problem I’m having is that when I look up 1998 CR 125 on my browser every one has the large aluminum frame. The bike that is listed has the older looking steel tube frame. I wanted your all’s opinion. Is this bike a 98? What am I missing?
  11. Hi, I have a 1997 cr125, I had gotten my cylinder repaired, plated along with a new power valve kit. I also bought a wiseco piston and ring with it. I was very very happy with how it turned out. I assembled the engine and read about 160-165 psi for compression, I ran the engine for about 6 hours riding it through trails and steep muddy hills, I'm pretty rough on the engine holding it wide open most of the time. rolling down a hill i lost compression and it died, would only start for a few seconds then bogging in the high rpms. until I rolled it to the top of the hill and bumped started it on the way down, after that, it ran just fine and got home to take a look. Took a compression test and it read 140 psi but the engine ran how it was supposed to. So I took it back on the trails and it died again, bump started it and this time again it ran very boggy in the high rpms, had to shift up to keep it running to make it back home. I took the head off and the cylinder looked good except for vertical wear lines, faint and unable to feel with my finger nail and I wondered if it's just the ring seating or if there's something else going on. After trying my best to do some research I can't find a solution so my thought is to put a new ring and head gasket in. What are your thoughts and what may the issue be? I'm only 15 years old so its likely I half-assed something into not working. Some slightly important details may be that I mix my gas 50:1 and I was missing a power valve cover and I made one temporary while the riding season is coming to an end. I NEED HELP
  12. Hey everyone I have an 03 cr125, with a good skid plate, a lectron carb, wrap around hand-guards, armadillo pipe guard, and a pipe that I am 75% sure is a Bill’s Pipe. what I am asking is, are there any crucial parts/mods that I am missing to begin hare scramble racing? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!
  13. For some reason when my bars are turned on my 1998 honda cr125 about halfway from full cranked my engine stalls but if the bars are full cranked then it runs and idles fine I don't know what this could be
  14. Was wondering if anybody knew a place I could get a petcock that has reserve for my 1998 Honda cr125 looking to do hare scrambles and want reserve for if I run out of gas on the trail somewhere
  15. I'm having trouble finding a proper mount for my Front brake caliper protector on my 2001 CR 125. would the mount from a 2002 CR work for me?
  16. Hi I’m new to dirt bikes so I’m probably about to say some cringy shit to more advanced mechanics, but I recently bought my first bike(04 cr125) and after one ride the clutch won’t disengage when I’m gear while holding in the clutch lever. The bike worked with no problems (except low compression) my first time riding it, but while it was sitting in the garage for a week I noticed the problem before I was going to take it out on another ride. I checked the basket and there were no deep groves but I filed it down a little anyway and I also replaced the plates+springs. I torqued everything back down to spec and the problem is still there. I’m pretty sure that just leaves the clutch cable but still I really don’t understand what’s happening. The cable seems to be in good condition with average resistance and no frays. Please help! ?
  17. So I am currently working on a 1997 CR125 and plan to make a full race build on it. But I have been noticing that there are not very many aftermarket parts the biggest being the plastics and graphics for it due to the frame, tank, sub frame, etc. I was wondering if its possible to put that engine into a CR125 frame anywhere from 98-07 and how hard that would be to do. I have a welder but I am not confident enough to weld new motor mounts. If you guys could help me out with this that would be great.
  18. Recently put a new piston and ring in my 125, expected it to dramatically increase the low compression I was experiencing before. Cylinder looked free of damage to me and could still see old hone marks from last time. Can easily run the kickstart arm with a weak hand. Can usually get it to run after some tinkering but bogs in the mid where it should snap into power. Used to love this bike now it’s giving me gray hairs. Any advice appreciated
  19. I have a 1997 cr125r and was just trying to see my options on a fork swap. I got the bike for a steal but the front end is trashed. The steering stops are destroyed, forks scratched, seals blown, bolts broke, and lugs smashed. Id imagine im not the first to try this so if there is an easy swap with a newer 250r I'd love to hear it. If it isn't so easy no big deal First post so sorry if i messed something up Thanks

It is a work in progress, but is easy to work on and well made. Parts aren't hard to find either.
  21. Is there some way to put a CRF Kickstarter to a 1998 CR125 engine?
  22. Are honda 2 Strokes going to go up or down in value over the next couple of years? I'm just wondering for my 98 Cr250r.

  24. So Iv got a 1993 cr 125. I tore down the engine for a top end and discovered someone left out the power valves. How many years did they make the engine the same? Can I put a newer cylinder back on this bike?
