Love this SICK 150 RB. Perfect size, with lots of power.

Fun and fast bike. Bought for trail riding, but ended up selling it because I didn't use it enough. I prefer a manual clutch, but I feel like a rekluse would make this a better trail bike because it has virtually no "flywheel affect", making it really easy to stall. The suspension needs some re-valve work for trail riding because the first half of the travel was too harsh. I love how light it was compared to a full-size bike though. Even though it has the 'big wheels', it still didn't handle trail obstacles as well as full size wheels do.

Got a pretty good deal. Runs well. Does speed up the idle if left on for around 30 seconds. Not sure if its supposed to dot hat or not but so far so good.

  10. Can't decide between 2007 TTR 230 or 2008 CRF 150R big wheel, I do mostly trail riding, desert, that kind of stuff. I am 6'1" and 165 lbs. Don't need a lot of power but I would like to know some pros and con's of both thnx
  11. I'm 5'8" and I weigh about 140 pounds. We do mostly trail riding and fire roads but we, my family, go to tracks with some regularity. I want the 150rb but my dad thinks I should get the 230. He's concerned about all the maintenance a race bike takes. Is it really that much and if so is it complicated? I'm willing to maintain it. I was just looking for someone who's experienced both bikes and could tell me which is a better fit. Thanks.

Great bike converted for off road use. The wife needed a bike and this fit her perfectly size wise. The power is a little strong, but she will get used to it. The options are limited in this size category.

I've only ridden it once so far, but holy crap this thing is fast for just a 150. I'm 5'6" and 140 and not sure if these are the stock springs or not, but it's perfect for my weight and aggressive riding style. I'm amazed at how well it hooks up coming out of slow corners. Carb is perfect, I wonder if someone reworked it before I got it? Overall, it's typical Honda quality which is top notch.
  22. I just recently went from a CRF150F to a new CRF150RB and have been reading the manual on what kind of maintenance I need to do. I don't compete, at most i go to the local track and hit a few jumps. I have a few flat trails that i ride quick on but mostly at the track. I am new to motocross dirt bikes and there are a few maintenance questions that i have... - Fork oil change, do i need to do it as often as they say? What is the importance of changing the oil in the forks? Can you summarize and tell me what everything is in the fork. - The manual says i need to replace my chain every 7.5 hours.. is that true? - How important is checking valve clearance? - Oil filters... do i need to replace it everytime i change the oil? or just every so often and just clean it off? - Are there any other really important maintenance tips? Much appreciated for your time!
