    KTM 690 Enduro R (2010)

I'd give it a five star if it wasn't for all the problems it had to begin with. Poorly tuned and a defective fuel pump from the get-go. Too bad KTM wasn't on top of it.

This is my first DRZ400SM, love it! Mine is a 2013, I could only select 2009 from this system.

Amazing bike, can't recommend it enough to anyone looking to do moderate trail riding & comfortable highway travel. Recently performed a supermoto conversion, ride improved massively. Steering much more responsive, rides out bumpy & uneven pavement with less wrist stress. 10/10 bike for sure.

Amazing bike overall however I have had a few issues dealing with neglect from the previous owner.

Never had a problem other than loosing a fairing at speed hence the white fearings now, but that was due to a few broken fasteners. Way to fast for the road, i'd be willing to trade for a nice 600 and a little dual sport.

Bought it for one purpose only - MotoGymkhana. I feel like it is gonna be the right decision. Light, agile, with enough engine power and decent brakes. Update after first year. I did a few mods and was able to get to the top 4 riders in Czech republic. Still, there are reserves both in the bike and the rider, although overall lack of engine power is beginning to be the main limit of this bike.

Great value. Could use more power and better suspension, but for the price it is more than properly setup.
  11. I'm cleaning my CV carb (Mikuni BSR36) off of my 2005 DRZ400S. The Slide Neelde Jet/Collar/Seat fell over when it dropped out. I don't know which way to put it back in? Which end will receive the slide needle first? A. The smaller o.d. end with the rounded opening? B. The fatter o.d. end with the beveled opening? . I've searched this forum a good bit last night, but didn't find this answer. If it is out there I apologize for the redundancy. I did see one thread asking a similar question but still couldn't figure out which end faced the slide needle. Nik

Plain and simple, I LOVE this bike! Now a little background, I bought this bike brand new. I went from a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600 to this. At first I was not all that impressed, The bike had very little power, I hated the mirrors on it, and I did not like that it was only a 5 speed. Since then I have added a few mods such as a Yoshimura exhaust, Jet kit, And the 3x3 mod. Wow what a difference right there. I cleaned up the tail with the DRC smoked tail light which is intergraded from 12 O Clock labs, changed the handle bars, and put on some hand guards with built in blinkers from tusk. Also got rid of the mirrors. I still wish the bike had a 6th gear but oh well.. My plans are to big bore it and do the act transmission once I have loaded about 10000 miles on the bike. We will see.. For now that's all.. I will keep all updated!

Very underpowered stock. Needs $2000 to make it a good bike. (big bore $500, carb $300, bars/risers $100, hand guards/grips $100, $500 for exhaust and jetkit, $500 labor).
