My Honda CRF230F is the perfect woods machine or buddy bike, very reliable. This is the first bike I bought after nearly a 30 year hiatus back in 2011. There were a couple of bike before my Honda XR 650L and the Husqvarna FE501S. The Honda XR 650 L I bought in 2014 and is a 2014 model and has 10,972 miles already. Fun bike for mostly back road and gravel road exploring. It is also surprisingly good off road as well. The ultimate bike is my2015 Husqvarna FE 501S. This bike has amazing power down low and plenty up top.After regearing and placing a throttle tamer on, it is an awesome tight woods machine. I had to rig up a fan override switch to operate the fan manually in the really tight stuff. -

06 SMR510 & 16 FE501S but have nobody that I ride with locally! I always feel as if the risk is increased by riding alone especially on these windy highways (101+199), forest service roads & trails. I have a 2018 fe 501. I just installed a JD Tuner on it. I noticed now that when I am idling with the clutch in, if I blip the throttle quickly the bike will quickly die. It seems to run good otherwise. It’s just blipping the throttle at idle. I turned all the settings to “stock” (all 3 across the board) and it still does it, although it is harder to make do it then it did on the “off-road” settings. What gives? Any ideas?
