  1. Model:YZ 250f 2013 Timing:(YZ or WR) YZ Main jet: stock Pilot jet: stock Fuel screw: stock Needle model/clip position: stock Pipe: DRD ns-4 full system Altitude: 0-750 ft Temperature: 40-80 fahrenheit Other mods: stock Notes: im looking for a snappier response of the gas and more air flow with out any back firing also more top end if possible, as of right now im running a stock exhaust but the DRD pipe is on the way so i was wondering what jetting i should run and any other cheap mods i could do while still having the same reliability, and run just as clean as a stock bike. Im worried that if i dont change my jetting the new pipe will just make it less reponsive and have less top end! Anyone who could shine some light on my situation would be greatly appreciated

Great little bike! I'll admit it feels under powered but I came off a Yamaha FZ-09 so yeah there's that...Comfortable to ride on, nice and light and therefor very nimble. Not so great for 2-up riding as it is lacking in power and size but for one person it's a great little machine for riding around the small island of Guam.

This street-legal 2004 XR400 is a bullet-proof, trail-riding tractor, with no radiator to bash in, valves that never need regapping, and after adding a Mikuni pumper carb, the perfect trail-bike that can be brapped over logs and rocks, and ridden in whatever gear happens to be handy. And just because I love it so much, I change the oil about once a year. Starts on first kick after pumping the starter to TDC and if I can remember not to touch the throttle at all (pumper carb easily floods engine otherwise).

I found the stock setup was great for me getting back into riding, but got bored quickly. Yeah I have thrown a few thousand dollars into it (Body parts, Rekluse EXP core 3.0, FMF megabomb / Q4 can, JD kit, and suspension), and I must say it is quite the trailblazer my friends. I like my bike, period. My avatar is before I installed my Rekluse, will update soon.

Good Bike just slow, I had an 05 CRF450 way back in 05 and it was a beast. Then I went to Kawasakis in 09, 10, and 11 and those were beast. Picked up this 10 as a left over and its nice and thin and light but slow compared to the kawasakis.
