  1. As the title suggests, I've been debating the idea of throwing in a high compression piston. It will bump the compression in my 2014 KTM 350 XC-F from 13.5:1 to 14:1. First and foremost my main question is, because I live under 1000 ft and usually run 97 octane REC gas, will I have to change the fuel I run or not? Also, will I have to change out the cams to aftermarket and re-time the whole motor and ignition? I guess I really don't know what to expect so any advice will definitely help! Attached below is a photo of the bike I plan on putting it in.
  2. I recently bought a 1999 gasgas 250 and I want to make have 2005 plastics what will I need to buy for it

Cutting edge, stylized, racing image GasGas has completely reinvented its great trial icon. The TXT Racing 2019 range with numerous new features is now unveiled before all trial lovers. The first of these, evident to the naked eye, is on an aesthetic level with completely renewed graphics and a markedly 'racing' appearance. All this thanks to the stylization of its lines and the originality of elements such as the new front mud guard, integrated into the fork brace, or the combination of basic colours such as black, red and white in the plastic and the embellishment of parts such as the new aluminium swingarm or the clutch cover. The rear section shows the remarkable changes that have been incorporated in the new GasGas TXT Racing 2019, with the debut of its new swingarm and most of the additional components associated with the rear section. This includes a long list of new features in the rear section, headed by the incorporation of a new more effective brake cylinder, a new disc protector anchored directly to the brake calliper, and a new guide for the rear brake hose, which has a new sprocket protector. In addition to a practical side stand with a new protrusion to facilitate its extension with the sole of the boot, a new chain skid, detachable without the need to undo the swingarm and an easy to assemble chain tensioner that now has even greater protection. New swingarm and rear section New elements in the rear section in addition to the new aluminium swingarm with its progressive linkage system, include the two-way Öhlins hydraulic monoshock with 174 mm travel and the new anchorage between the swingarm, the chrome-molybdenum tubular chassis and the engine with bearings double sealed to the exterior, which ensure a hermetic finish and provide a perfect balance between stability, traction and the reaction capacity of the rear shock absorber in the most demanding and uncompromising trial zones for riders. An absolute redesign of the swingarm and link that give a new progressiveness to the models of the new GasGas TXT Racing 2019 range, increasing its stability and improving the traction and precision of the rear section. Elastic and progresive engine response The new ECRanger has been designed for having fun. And for that reason it has been decided to soften its delivery, adopting a new thermodynamic performance and premiering a new cylinder and cylinder head. Changes that have helped to decompress the engine and get a more full and elastic delivery at low speed. While at high revs its output has been limited, sweetening its power and providing that pleasant feeling of always having everything under control. A modern two-stroke engine that will be manufactured in two sizes, 200 and 300 cc and that will be coming off the Salt production line with an exhaust system from the company Tecnigas. With the frame and suspension, the design of this new GasGas shows the deliberate aim for this model to become an enduro that satisfies the whole range of riders, thanks to its lower seat height and its excellent maneuverability. A height 40 millimeters lower than the range of EC models is achieved by redesigning the suspension. Comfortable and practical for any use All these changes add up to a long list of new components in the frame and suspension of the new GasGas ECRanger. For example the new comfortable, padded seat cover or the removal of the traditional kick-start of other models, starting now being taken care of with the new electric start system with lead acid battery. Quality and reliability in every detail In the suspensions section, GasGas maintains all its confidence in the renowned quality and reliability of the firm Kayaba, incorporating a new front fork from the Japanese firm, this time 46 millimeters in diameter with open cartridge andcompression and rebound adjustment at the front; and the same adjustable rear shock absorber as used by the EC models, varying only in length, with preload and rebound adjustment. As for the braking system, the new GasGas model uses new NG brand discs - 260 mm front and 240 mm rear - and also new brake calipers and pistons, a system developed exclusively by Braktec for this version. A parts specification that guarantees control, absorption and traction, deliberately added to by the true sensations transmitted by its 28.6 mm handlebar with central brace, the signature Regina -520/135 non-seal chain- and new tires: Vee Rubber -90 / 90-21 front and 120 / 90-18 rear. The tires are mounted on Excel rims providing extraordinary grip that will surprise even the most experienced enduro riders. Actually a 2001 Gas Gas Txt 321. This bike was not recommended for club riders. It has all the power you would need in a trials bike. Precise throttle and clutch control are a must.

wonderful to ride, similar pull as my 2008 te510ei, but the weight is not there, and it allows you to change direction you want to go, people need to test ride a gas gas , build quality is excellent, love this bike. the Australian model is a EC300R

This is a great bike but I bought it as a bit of a rat bike.. I fixed it up a bit to make it rideable and now it's become a slow motion project bike. The motor is awesome and the bike works great but it's ergos are a little small for my 6'1" long armed frame. I have moved the bars forward , gotten a newer seat with seat hump and got some rear offsett pegs to open up the bike a little.. with ebay open 24 hrs a day and other sites I'm slowly buying more and more mods to improve the bike.. just got a kick stand and other goodies.. My Beta and Cr are close to being maxed out as far as mods . I continue to add whatever I can to all the bikes.. It's like a disease.. a fun disease though.
