Used by most major factory teams and riders Improves clutch performance and life Improves heat dissipation Precision machined from billet T-6 aircraft quality aluminum to aerospace tolerances and Akadized for 5 times the wear resistance to stock (with proper maintenance) Allows clutch assembly to spin more true creating less heat when clutch is disengaged and providing a more positive smooth clutch engagement Helps eliminate clutch chatter Most kits include the clutch cover

This is one of the best bikes I have owned. It does everything well. It has been dead reliable. Puts a smile on my face every time I throw a leg over it. I bought the bike as a left over in 2011 and at the time of this review it has 1400 miles and 70 hours on it. The only thing that has failed during this time is a radiator cap.

  4. i recently bought a 03 yz85, it's in kind of a rough shape but i saw it as decent potential to get a "BETTER than stock" bike for the price of a new one and will be riding it with some tlc while i collect the parts(and money) for a grand overhaul. its mostly street and trail ridden so it wont suffer the abuse it was made for. but as i have been researching i have started to drown in the sea of options, so im not looking for a definitive answer but rather opinions/experiences as to what parts to buy. i'll dive in to the engine first and while im at it i will go ahead and swap everything, so with a 1.500-2.000$ budget on the engine what should i get, or rather what should i buy OEM, and what should i buy aftermarket(and wich brand)? i know this is a really general question, but i'll dig into the spesific parts as "we" go along... i truly appreciate any and all replies! Sincerely Tor.

It is a work in progress, but is easy to work on and well made. Parts aren't hard to find either.

    Clutch comparison

Hey Thumpertalk! I was looking into a new clutch as an upgrade and I was wondering what opinions everyone had on some of the brands out there! Keep in mind I don't want to spend 600$ on a set of clutch plates I rode a Kx250f with a Hinson clutch and it seems very strong to me! Thank you everyone!

My new whip... along with a few pictures from the Spring creek MX track in Millville Minnesota. I live only one hour away and raced there all summer in the District 23 amateur series, that track has it all and this bike (with a few mods) will take anything it'll throw at you, in stride.

Great solid bike! Rips to shreds!
  15. So I went out with a bunch of friends to Manchester on Sunday and saw quite a few others out and wondered if any of them happened to be on here. I had a good time, but the trails were pretty overgrown in places and blocked off with trees in others. For the first while I didn't notice the stop signs when the trail crossed an access road, so I blew right through them . I was enlightened soon thereafter by one of my friends. I will get a gopro video up soon for anyone who would like to see.
