  1. Hi! I would like to know the correct oil pressure for my bike (FS650/628) after some rebuilding, it would keep me calm and happy (hope so). I Installed an temporary oil pressure gauge to oil filter cover and the pressure seems a bit low, not over 0,5bar at idle or even with a bit more rpm, like ~3000 rpm. Only figure for correct pressure was found from Husaberg forum by some user who said that it should be 1bar@3000rpm but I dont know where that figure is from originally. My Husaberg repair manual does not help me more than my time spent on google so far. I have some problems on posting to husaberg.org.
  2. I use color rite aerosol rattle can frame paint for all my resto jobs. Anyone have a good match or even a more bold Yellow match with Japanese brands, Suzuki RM Yellow (year model), Yamaha YZ Yellow (year model)? Thanks Rob
  3. Hi need help with the 2 black plastic gear which have broken of in engine . Is this common How do I fix Has oil pump sized or failed Please help as I have no idea Does the star gear need replacing Bike still runs sweet but lost all gear while on road and the little plastic gear has broken and jammed under gear selector bottom of sump

  6. So. I got roped in to working on this bike. Has been sitting for a long time. Slide was stuck in the carb and it was full of goo. Did a thorough cleaning and put it back together and it leaks fuel out the overflow. Took it back apart and cleaned carb again and polished up seat using the q-tip polishing method. Still leaks fuel. Ordered new needle and seat for the funky dell'orto carb and adjusted float height. Put it all back together and turned fuel on and it leaks still. Shut fuel off and tapped on carb and appears to have stopped leaking... tried kick starting it (battery was dead) got it to fire twice. My shin was bleeding... stupid left kicker bike.. Put in new battery and checked valve clearance. Cranked on it for a long time and got it to start and run for a few seconds and it dies. Couldn't get it to start again. Charged up battery and got it to start again and run for a little while longer. Whole time it's shooting flames out the exhaust. Shut it off because it was getting hot at this point. Couldn't get it to restart. Thinking it may have a bad valve. I don't have a leak down tester to check it. Any ideas? Sound like a bad valve? Unknown amount of time on bike. Everything else appears to be in good shape. Doesn't look like it was rode much. Plug looked ok so I put it back in. Was a pita to get it out as my socket barely fit in the hole and then I couldn't get it back out. What is a good compression reading for these bikes? They seem kind of obscure and parts are hard to find.
