I was flipping threw a mag and it caught my eye but the websites don't say what they fit do they make products that would fit my 99 400 or am I outta luck? Has anyone tried it and is it worth it?
-
Any one have one lying around that isn't installed right now?

As the topic title says, has any tried the FMF Snap in their 2012-2013 KX450F? It is probably a waste of $100 simply because the bike has a broad range of power from bottom to top, but, in theory, it sounds like it could increase throttle response and the "hit" of the motor...just thought I would put it out there for some feedback.
-
Just wondering if anyone has tried the FMF SNAP? And if it's worth the $100?

I have an 05 crf450 and lately it has been backfireing ALOT and now recently it wont start, or takes 50+ kicks to start. >.< I will be buying new Valves, intake and exhaust, w/ seats and springs. I just was wondering if there is any combination people would reccomend or usually use, I want to replace em all in one just to get it out of the way. I am told of Kibblewhite SS Vavles are good, but does that count for Intake and Exhaust? And what about springs/seats to go with em? Also, I will be doing my jetting and going with a JD jetting kit. Is this something you would use/recommend? Thanks

So i was readin my Mags last night and noticed a serious push for the new FMF snap insert. I am on the edge with this, some of you will say its crap, some of you will praise it, and some will be like me indifferent. What are your thoughts on a 100$ mod that might or might not work...

The AIR4ORCE tunable intake system by Moto Tassinari completely replaces your stock air intake boot with one that is custom designed to allow maximum air volume Allows the rider to fine tune the power delivery through the use of interchangeable velocity stacks (an industry first) Adjust for different types of tracks/riding, such as motocross or supercross which often require the power in different places. This is also ideal for riders who have a preference of a harder hitting bottom-end or a rider who prefers to hang around the rev limiter Included with each AIR4ORCE are two interchangeable velocity stacks. Long velocity stack: Increased stock power curve, with better acceleration. Short velocity stack: Stronger mid-to-top power, with better acceleration Moto Tassinari is officially sponsoring the Factory Honda race team, the GEICO Honda team, and the Lucas Oil/TLD/Honda team- 4 reviews

Picked up this little bike for $825 still registered but it had been dropped once or 10 times so it needed a good tidy up, 2 weeks later I had the tank repainted to match the new fairing kit, Lots of goodies to tidy it up also It is now a nice little bike, & a damn fast little bike too> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CBR250#cite_note-Ash2011-3 Fitting a KOSO DB-02R speedo setup, I will get some pics when it is completed -

Very like the ease to innitiate to this bike. Good suspension setup, nice handling but a little lack in power. I upgrade it throught the years with this : Suspension : Stiffer .46kg/mm Factory Connection fork springs, Factory Connection lowering link, thicker FF5 Factory Connection oil in the HSSD. So the bike is now more stable without sacrifying is handling Engine : C4MX ported cylinder head, Pro Circuit camshaft and complete valvetrain, Yoshimura RS4 full exhaust, Moto Tassinari Air4orce, TUF 43mm Throttle body insert, EBC HD clutch spring, Twin air filters, PC racing Pro seal, removed backfire screen with a remaped ECM by Eddie Sisneros. I have now a better response, strong power everywhere with a lot of overrev. Control : Renthal twinwall handlebar, Zeta rubber killer, Zeta fold back lever, Motion pro revolver throttle system, Motion pro grips, Tusk footpegs. Drive : DID VT2 Xring chain, Supersprox stealth 48 teeth rear sprocket, Supersprox 13 teeth front sprocket, Zeta axle blocs. Body : Custom plastics mix, Custom graphic kit, Factory FX B4 seat cover, Cycra full armor skid plate, Work connection Holeshot device, Work connection Radiators braces, Black rims, Red anodized look hubs, Michelin tire, Moose spokes set, Zeta, breather, clips, plugs, washer and cap. With all this upgrade the bike became a real beast on the track.-

Has anyone used the FMF snap, and did you notice much increase in low end or other improvements? Thanks
-
I just put one one my bike, man what a difference it makes. More power, better fuel mileage. Fifth gear stands up on its own, in fact its hard to keep the front planted on this thing! Well worth the hundred bucks it cost me. Works almost as good as my tornado I installed in my truck...that thing was night and day as far as power and increased mileage.

Anyone able to give an actual seat of the pants ride report yet? Someone has to have one by now that has ridden with the stock boot I've been waiting patiently to hear opinions on the set up but it seems no one has done one since its release other than on the 250fs and in the mags but they are not really worth too much IMO since any increase in performance will be extremely noticeable and the mags never say anything negative about a product they review.

Anyone have one or tried it? $99 bucks for an increase in low-mid power... http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/53/213/1151/-/-/897597/FMF-SNAP?ref=gmc&gclid=CO6ImvG-h7UCFUxxQgodWEAA3g In any intake tract, you have milliseconds for the air to get from point A (through the air filter), to point B (past the intake valve). The new FMF SNAP is an intelligent way to shorten that time. The SNAP increases the velocity of the air in the intake tract. The SNAP does this by dividing the intake tract into sections, which increases the velocity and then balances the air pressure within this section via holes of specific size and placement. Increases throttle response. Increases pulling power from 1/8 to 1/2 throttle. Pure passing power, whether on the track, trail or anywhere in between. Easy installation. Installs in seconds on most models. Requires no jetting change.

2012 Honda CRF250R FMF 4.1 RCT Aluminum Muffler, FMF Titanium Megabomb Header, FMF Snap and Twin Air Air Filter. Love the bike so far. Decent power to weight ratio however I'm used to a 450 so obviously could use more power. Just got the bike, only had it out twice so far. Looking forward to bike season. -
