    Kibblewhite Precision Intake Valve

    5 reviews

All KPMI titanium valves are manufactured from solid U.S. milled titanium bar. The titanium bar is cut, forged and then the stem is pulled from the forging process and cross-sectionally reduced. After all final grinding and machining the valve is encased in a hard titanium nitride shell. We have tested these valves in the lab and on the track. They have proven themselves time after time in many high-demand applications, from a dual stage nitrous motor to a recent Superbike from Hell

I thought I would add my 93 XR250R to the garage (again) to document what I have done to it, It looked like something you would find at a wrecking / salvage yard when I got it, It was missing the carby, Front caliper, Headlight, Front guard, Side covers & other odds & ends but I could see that it was actually still in very good condition & it just needed the missing parts replaced & a good tidy up, Luckily the motor is good & runs sweet after fitting an XR250L pumper carby which is now jetted to XR250R specs I am collecting the necessary parts to rebuild the top end soon At this stage n XR's Only seat cover & graphics would make it look a bit better Dunlop D605 fitted on the rear XR's Only stainless exhaust Header pipe Custom fitted White Brothers E-Series muffler (If anyone happens to have the discs or a complete maybe damaged E-Series muffler with the discs & Elliptical end cap setup (which would also be a great donor for what I need) laying round please let me know) New RHK fatbar mounts & Tag 1-1/8" fatbars fitted, Makes the ergo's much better for me, A bit taller & looks sweet too New white 15.9L / 4.2 Gal Clarke tank New 42 tooth Renthal sprocket fitted, + I have a spare 44 teeth Renthal sprocket also Just fitted, Baja Designs headlight, Moose skid plate & some XR's Only (Custom/were to suit XR600 oversize IMS) tank decals / Graphics Very close to an engine rebuild now, I have a new 77mm JE piston kit, Cometic gaskets, Brand new in the packet OEM XR250R camshaft, Brand new Honda rocker cover + lotsa other goodies to sort out the rebuild, Looking for a good used 88-95 XR250R cylinder head, Anyone have one laying round? Just fitted some CRF450R forks & a 2010 CRF450R front wheel using a set of Emig Racing billet triple clamps Time to move on & sell this sweet old 93 XR250, Anyone interested send me a PM! SOLD!!! Went to the new owner after he handed me $2750AU, A bargain really He is very happy with it especially being a very different looking & unique XR250, Sad to see it go but I am very happy with my near new 09 CRF450X which takes my riding level way beyond, The CRF450X is a whole lot more of a bike, Anyone looking to do a bit more than just ride trails should definitely step up to a 450X!

Exhaust valves bear the brunt of increased temperatures and stress but are popular choices due to their high tulip design Greatly improved with Inconel, a super alloy high-nickel material, which retains its mechanical properties at higher temperatures than the most extreme duty exhaust valves available in the past

  8. I have an 05 crf450 and lately it has been backfireing ALOT and now recently it wont start, or takes 50+ kicks to start. >.< I will be buying new Valves, intake and exhaust, w/ seats and springs. I just was wondering if there is any combination people would reccomend or usually use, I want to replace em all in one just to get it out of the way. I am told of Kibblewhite SS Vavles are good, but does that count for Intake and Exhaust? And what about springs/seats to go with em? Also, I will be doing my jetting and going with a JD jetting kit. Is this something you would use/recommend? Thanks

This bike suits my riding perfectly. With a tooth down on the front sprocket, this bike loves super tight single track, more technical the better. After playing with the stock suspension adjustments it tracks great even on the rockiest, wet rooted trails. Can't say enough good things about this bike. With typical maintenance and stainless steel intake valves swap, the bike has a long life ahead of it on the PA mountains.

    Kibblewhite Precision Valve Guide

    1 review

Guide profiles are designed to be as cleans and unobstructive to the airstream as possible, while maintaining critica; cross sectional thickness in high temperature areas, promoting both high performance and endurance. In many instances because of the nose shape, just the installation of our guides with no other modifications will enhance airflow Where the factory basewasher allows for it, guides have a flange that sets the protrusion at a height that allows for correct seal to retainer clearance for the most aggressive cam available at the time the guides are designed. Once the flange touches the head you are home. No time lost stopping to measure guide protrusion several times during installation. In cases where a flange would interfere with the factory basewasher fitment, a small decrease in diameter above the purchase area marks the correct guide protrusion Very tight concentrically tolerances are held are held to insure the best possible geometry between the seat and guide is maintained when the guides are replaced. This means minimal material removal from the seat, time savings and consistent chamber volumes, when valve jobs are performed with KPMI guides installed A radius at the trasition from the nose profile to the main body of the guide prevents galling on installation C630 Racing Bronze material contains 80% copper alloyed with 5% nickel, and 10% aluminum Hugh copper content (20% greater than traditonal manganese bronze materials) gives excellent thermal qualities High nickel content makes the guide harder and more wear and corrosion resistant than other bronze materials Corrosion resistance is an especially critical element of guide life with the new pump and performance fuels sold today Aluminum content brings characteristics that make the guides especially compatible with aluminum cylinder heads Material is mill certified, guarantying a consistent premium grade of material in every production run. This unique blend of materials create a guide that is extremely resistant to galling, which allows for tighter clearances than other materials. This reduction in clearance createes a better valve-to-seat seal, and superior oil control Kit includes 2 valve guides

We fully CNC machine our White Diamond Valves from a one-piece forging of either EV8 Stainless Steel or Inconel-751. These materials have proven heat and corrosion resistance properties. Each valve is designed using Finite Element Analysis software, and profiles are tested on our computerized flow bench. Strict attention is paid to the surface preparation of the valves, and the purity of the chrome is closely monitored. A 360 degree anode is used to produce the highest possible grade of hard chrome finish. White Diamond Valves are light, strong, one piece forgings with profiles that provide excellent flow characteristics
