I have have a spare motor for my 2005 yz125. My current motor that came with the bike had some massive issue which blew a hole below the primary gear. So bought a backup. The backup is completely stripped, no bearing or studs. I have relieved the cases for to run a 144 setup ( current motor cylinder is a EG144). What mods, polishing, etc.. do people do for performance?. Really don’t care if related to noticeable power or not. Just having fun. Some questions I have: * polish head * polish top of cases where Intake enters * anything to do near the reed valves to improve atomization Any thoughts from those considering themselves to be a 2S guru?
Hey guys! My name is Andrew and I'm new here from Northwest WI and just got an early Christmas present. My boss had an old CR500 in his dad's barn in WA that nobody could get working. I ended up getting it from him for free for a favor. Flew out to WA for work, bought a 2001 F350 7.3l dually (rust free unlike stuff from WI), threw the bike in the back, and drug it home to WI. My plan is to completely restore it (with small modifications) this winter. I've already started making progress and will add more as I get time. Just wanted to start a project thread so you guys can motivate me to finish it!
Hey guys, new here. I recently bought a 08 rmz450. Pretty much stock besides stage one cam and the power flow kit by twin air. What other mods are a must for this bike. Mostly ride on my buddys land but hoping to get some track time in once I get everything dialed in. Need help with suspension settings too. Bike seems a lil tall for me considering I’m 5’6” and 140 pounds. Anyways any tips or ideas would be great. If you’ve got a rmz post pics! Like to see what my potential is with this 12 year old bike haha. Thanks. 🙂
