Hello everyone, My name is Kevin and I am collecting submissions for the 2021 NMA Wall Calendar. I want to see how you all are surviving this self distancing. Pics of you working on your bikes, sitting on the couch watching a Beta tape of a Kingdome SX, letting your kid tear up your yard on their 50, basically something to commemorate this odd year we are having. I'm also looking for riding and trail clearing/maintenance shots. Show off your mad shutter skills. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. What am I looking for in submitted photos? High resolution! Cell phone tips LIGHT! - Cell phone cameras perform better with light. Taking shots in the dark forests with cell phones can have them struggling, often leading to grainy pictures. Give them lots of light and make their jobs easier. No Filters – Please don’t over saturate everything and make it look you were riding in Candy Land. You can do it but I would love to see the original first. Do NOT Text or Email the Picture - Sending or receiving a picture by text, or emailing them can compress and degraded the quality. It still looks great on a cell phone screen, but it can suffer at calendar size. Plug your cell into your computer and download the picture, or save it from cloud picture back location. No Screen shots – They do not work well blown up. Try and get the originals. Looking for photos from competition events, trail rides, volunteer trail work featuring NMA members! If possible, please include info: Photographer General location/Trail/Event Rider(s) name(s) if known Any photo submitted should be with photographer's permission. The top submissions will be hanging on everyone's wall next year! Thank you for your submissions, Kevin Dahlen NMA Wall Calendar
So I thought I should create a new thread to dump my vlogs into for the few that do watch them. If you didn't catch my vlogs from last year for 2017, check them out here -> 2017 NMA Series Season 2 is well underway for 2018. This year I'll be racing the Open A class competing in both the NORCS and NMA off-road series as well as the Desert 100 and maybe some other races throughout the year. If you got any questions or recommendations, lets hear them. Enjoy! Northwest Off-Road Championship Series (NORCS) Northwest Motorcycle Association (NMA)
