  1. Hey guys, I recently got what I was told is a "2010 falcon 125cc" pitbike. This is my first Chinese bike and I was told they are all pretty much the same, but I'm finding that isnt true. The clutch I got looks almost Identical but has 73 teeth on back of basket, mine has 67 (I counted twice!) I cant seem to fine one with 67 teeth anywhere. I also havent been able to find out a ton about the falcon brand. Had to shave down a new front brake caliper to keep it from hitting the disc bolt heads. If anybody could help me with finding the right clutch or info on the bike in general, that would be great! Thank you.

  4. So i bought this engine, slapped it under a rolling frame and had some fun with it for an hour or something. Tried to start and heared a loud bang in the engine case. I just opend the case and found a bearing that just exploded into pieces. Its the bearing where the second kickstart shaft is rolling on. Does anyone know where i can vet this bearing or what the code would be so i can order a new one. YX160 4V gen1
  5. Hey fellow riders 💜 Another noob question from me. I fell in love with enduro and trails riding so much. I know that technical stuff like pivot turns and covering obstacles and all that good stuff come very easy when practicing on a trial bike and then transferring "skills" on enduro motorcycle. Problem is I can't afford a trial bike. Since pitbikes are very light and easy to wheelie or pivot turn, could a pitbike be an alternative to a trial bike for learning basic technical stuff. Sorry for my creepy English and noob question 😂 Braap on my friends!

  7. Hey fellas, I recently picked up a 2010 klx110l that has seen a rougher life to say the least. Other than looking like it has been on its side 1000 times it starts and runs pretty well. I'm an old two stroke guy so these four stroke pitters are pretty new to me. I noticed right after I picked it up that it just doesn't like to be goosed from an idle. When you crank the throttle from an idle it bogs and almost dies. Upon further inspection I found that the gas in the tank was bad and after tearing the carb apart found a little bit of gunk in the bowl. I cleaned all of the jets and the carb body as good as I could and it still does the same thing. I am aware these bikes don't have an accelerator pump, but this much bog just doesn't seem normal. The bike is 100% stock and has fresh fluids and a fresh air filter. Any leads to the problem would be greatly appreciated.
  8. So my little 125 Chinese Lifan motor pitbike recently started bogging for seemingly no reason when I give it full throttle. After playing with the carb I took it off and put it on another 125 and it worked fine, same with my spark plug, so I'm guessing that's not the issue. I then took the air filter off and the bogging problem went away. The bike was running pretty good, although a little rich with some backfire, but it never bogged until just recently. Hasn't been trashed, only ridden on a few pretty easy dirt tracks. Any thoughts on what it could be? I've yet to check my valves properly as I don't have small enough feeler gauges on me at the moment, but will get around to that soon.
  9. I have a 2009 klx 110 with a totaled engine and I'm wondering what type of engine I could replace it with. I've searched but only found engines for Honda crf 50's and cant find any that would hook up to a klx 110 frame. And before you say fix the current motor, the transmission is garbage, engine blew up so it also needs a top end rebuild, and both the engine cases have been broken with pieces missing. This happened because the slot where the Kickstarter shaft went into the case broke inside the engine and someone continued to run it while a chunk of the engine case was bouncing around inside. Also I'm wondering if they sell a kit where I could mount brackets on the frame to put a motor made for the Honda engines.
  10. The pit bike itch is real. Today I went to a dealer today with my brother to buy a 19’ kx250f ( which by the way is a nasty machine) and i stumbled apon the piranhas. Up until this point i was convinced i was going to buy a 110, I just havnt found the right one. Well, I then was introduced to the 125-e. The thing was like 1500 bucks out the door and looked awesome. I just have no clue about them. Reliability? Durability? Easy to get parts? Are they expensive? And so forth. Im looking at staying away from anything with a clutch, i want something my wife can jump on and burn laps in the yard and that im not afraid to jump on after a few tall waters. It will be used to thrash around the backyard as well as probably get some track time Thanks for the help!

Hi I bought a new lifan125cc engine for my pit bike and on the second ride second gear started jutering and then stoped working completely so I tore apart the engine and replaced the shift drum and fork as they were slightly bent and when I put it all back together second gear still juters but other gears work fine is there any other fix I could do? Thanks for any help
  12. Anyone hear of some lets say, 60/40 off/on road use tires? I'm looking for some for my DRZ 125 the tires are 17" 70/100 and 14" 90/100. I've found slicks, and knobbies obviously but knobbies on the road gets expensive and dangerous then the slicks are like bicycle tire's. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. I have started building my 1994 z50, over the weekend I messed up the forks. I have been hording part for the build and its time to start i have a set of +1 chromoly tubs with the delrin fork bushings . A new 1 1/2" extended swingarm with 280mm rear shocks. The only thing I dont have is a nice set of front springs I want something that will take small jumps and bumps for a 180lb rider but not be so stiff it hurts or way to soft . I am looking at two brothers xr50 springs and want to know what everyone recommends from experiance. Give me the + /- of different set ups. Thanks.
  14. I need some help identifying a bike I just picked up for a steal. It’s missing a few parts and I’d like to make sure what I get fits before I order. I need a front brake assembly including caliper and lever. Plastics are probably going to be easy. Muffler needs some welding but should work. Any assistance you could give would be appreciated. I believe the engine is a Lifan 110cc. Thanks.

  17. I have a sdg 125cc manual 4 stroke pit bike. I bought it after getting It home I realized the spark plug hole was stripped the bike still started it lasted for a bit then it popped one day shooting the spark plug out and destroyed the threads. I just got a new head for it put that on after a few days of ridding the cam sprocket popped off shooting the cam cover off and sending the cam chain down and braking a tooth off the oil pump gear. The bike started smoking from the cam chain hole. I realized after taking a closer look I caused this hole mess in the first place. I forgot the dowel pin that goes in the center of the cam sprocket. so I had my work cut out for me after taking the hole engine apart and replacing the oil pump sprocket and putting everything back toghter I got no compression I dont have a tester to tell how much compression there is if there is any at all but I can tell the difference from before to now so the bike just wont start I've messed with the timming on the bike checked the piston rings and cylinder. I'm stuck and NEED HELP!!! anyways my guess would be a few different things. 1st the timing I've lined up the t mark and the notch in the head with the sprocket got nothing maybe I'm doing that wroung 2nd I've taken the head off to make sure the piston and cylinder was ok everything looks good I aslo checked to see of the rings were placed right all good there 3rd My only other guess would be the clutch is stuck from sitting to long idk if this is possible or not but I know of the clutch is Engaged the bike wont let you kick it is this a possibility? Any help/responses would be gravely appreciated I've been playing with this thing for about 2 weeks now and I'm just stuck. Thanks again austin
  18. Hey guys, I've bought a brand new 125cc Lifan engine off of eBay as well as a brand new 26mm molkt carby and I just can't seem to get it to start. I have compression, spark, air, timing and fuel but it just doesn't want to start it doesn't even pop over there is absolutely nothing. I've checked the spark. I've got fuel and I've also checked the timing and that seems to be perfect aswell so any help would be great thanks

Im rebuilding a pitbike I don’t know if it’s Lifan with genuine thump star pieces but same engines pretty much I cannot figure out why my timing chain has gotten about 5mm shorter I’ve turned the cam to try release any kinks but still even when I pull it fully tight on the tensioner it still doesn’t reach, any ideas?
  20. Hey all, I got a late 2000s, 110cc semi auto pitpro. Was told its a 3 speed? I didnt realise they made 3 speeds lol. So its DOWN to shift up gears? Also, i can shift down to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, then shift down again and shifts into netural, then shift down again and goes into gear, is this normal? Ive never heard of this gearing haha, its like i can keep pressing down with no limit, it is smooth though. The other issue is a bog when i quickly turn the throttle, like it wants to turn off, if im slower with the throttle its fine and medium to high revs are great! Is this just an air fuel mixture screw adjustment? If so how much and which way? The air fuel screw us under neath the card so it will be hard to adjust haha. Cheers for any help!
  21. Just got a xr80 for cheep did the main things like spark plugs oil and air filter but looking for upgrades to give it some character, thinking about spray painting the plastics and probly will stiffen the suspension beacuse it's set up for a 10 year old. What should I do to it?

My brothers ssr 125 lost spark a couple months ago, after ruling out The plug, coil, and kill switch we decided it must have been the stator, he ended up buying a cheap Chinese racing stator kit off eBay,after replacing the stator we had no spark so he bought another just to make sure, same thing,after some research we found out you could rotate the stator plate so we did, we got spark but when we started it up it wouldn’t rev above probably 2500 rpms and had a consistent popping when holding it wide open, sounded like timing to me, I’m curious why rotating it gave us spark and what the problem could be other then that. Rotating it 180 degrees should be the exact same thing right?
  24. Hey guys question here with the bike. It’s a chinese pitbike xmotos xt125r/peacemoto xb38 motor is identical to ssr125 motor for reference. Back story of the bike is I bought it used from a guy who bought a house and the bike came with it and a cr250 bummer it was sold before I got there but anyways it has been sitting. Had old bad gas that I drained most of and the fuel filter had a lot of dirt and gunk in it that I drained from the filter. It did idle when I test rode it then it stopped idling without gassing it or having the choke on. Bright side is I cleaned the carb and the jets and now it idles and starts on it’s on without throttle or choke assistance. but the main issue is it still keeps bogging when I try to gas it all the way and I cannot go past 25mph. If I keep accelerating it while it’s bogging it’ll eventually just stop and shut off. Only thing I have done to the bike was changed the oil, changed the spark plug cleaned the carb and jets and adjusted the idle mixture screw to try and make it run richer nothing really helps. I ordered a new carb the same PZ26 carb and a new fuel filter along with a uni air filter. Also posted on reddit I was told to come here as well. They recommended bigger jets, a mikuni carb which I will get, new fuel filter and to check the air filter, most said running lean and fuel delivery issue only one person has said spark/timing and running too rich so far. heres the video of what it’s doing which is from Reddit. This is the best video as I did this today and really got on the throttle :
