    Yamaha XT250 (2015)

It's not a serious dirt bike, but it's lots of fun on and off road. Probably my favorite thing is the low seat height, I fall over with my DR-Z400 every ride in the dirt.

    Suzuki DR-Z400S (2006)

As this bike comes stock, it is neither a good road bike, nor a good dirt bike. You can make it better at either one at the sacrafice of the other. I wanted a trail bike to explore the national forests around where I live. The problem is they are closed to off highway vehicles except for small designated areas. The beauty of this bike, is that after a few mods, (tires, sprockets, armor) I have a pretty legit dirtbike with a license plate. Where I live (California) you can no longer convert a dirt bike to be street legel. Its cheap to insure and I can still ride it around town and short trips on the freeway. One negetive you always hear about the drz is that its heavy - true if your lil guy;-)

I love the DRZ, it does everything I want a bike to do. Some of my other mods that aren't detailed below are the Vibranator vibration canceling bar inserts, flush mount rear turn signals, ProMoto billet rack, and a tool box from a Yamaha XT225.

    Beta 300 RR (2015)

I told my wife I was buying a bike with everything I wanted on it when it's new, so I ordered this on Beta's BYOB at $12,000 total, in July '14 and received it Sept '14, a great deal for what's in the bike, I was surprised she was good with that. The bike has been reliable and has me riding faster than ever.

GENERAL INFORMATION The new Mark 3 Pivot Pegz® are now available and have taken it to a whole new level with a mega wide 60mm platform. Due to the pivoting nature of Pivot Pegz you can have the best of both worlds, a mega wide 60mm platform and easy access to the gear shift and rear brake lever, this is due to the fact that the Pivot Pegz platform pivots and opens up access to the lower controls. Let us assure you that this isn’t your average footpeg, not only do you get a mega wide platform but the state of the art grip pattern, platform design and spring loaded pivoting action means you get enhanced grip and load distribution as well as reduced impact and fatigue. The new Mark 3 Pivot Pegz are also designed to reduce mud packing in the peg. As for the quality, it’s world class, quite simply our aim is to build the best performing and highest quality production footpegs in the world. As for price, when you add it all up well we think US$169.99 per set is a steal. These things are precision built and made from solid aerospace grade stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish and designed to perform like no other peg. You get the Ferrari of the footpeg world at a great price. Pivot Pegz are a patented, race proven product that actively tracks with the motion of the riders foot to provide superior grip and load distribution whist reducing impact and fatigue. Thousands of users worldwide will lay testament to the performance benefits and rider/bike synergy that Pivot Pegz provide. And to cap it off Pivot Pegz are one of the few motorcycle products that actually save you money due to the fact that the pivoting nature extends the life of the soles of your riding boots.
  7. I'm curious to know about these pivot pegz, im practically sold on them, right now im in a cast because I cased a jump and hurt my achilles tendon. I had bad ankles for years now. So I started reading on pegs, because mine, on my 2007 crf450 are abnormally small. I was just about to purchase some TUSK pegs which I had before and they're ok, because I found them a little big. I can find these a little hard to shift. Then I started looking into these pivot pegz which sounds great. However no one reported anything when jumping with them. I'm trying to picture myself jumping with a peg that swivels... Has anyone tried these here? I don't do trail riding and im sure they would be great for that. Do they swivel on the landings? Do they make your ankle come down harder when landing? That's really the question that makes me or breaks me on these. 160-180$ is pretty much the top dollar i wanted to spend, but obviously would rather spend less. any input here would help.

    Pivot pegs

I'm going to change my pegs and wonder what you've all tried so far. I'm interested in Pivot Pegs, has anybody found a source for ones that fit the CRF250L?
