Hello, I have a 1981 Honda XR250R. It hasn’t been running in a while and I am at much higher elevation now. I was wondering if anyone has a chart or something knowing what size jets to use. I live in utah at 5k feet. And will ride up to about 8k feet with this bike. Carb is fully stock (to my knowledge) Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi one and all, Do any of you do, or ever do, plastic restoration? In the process of doing a resto on a 1981 Yamaha IT 250 and the plastics are hell to come by. Soooo, I decided to restore them. Here are some samples of before and after. Tail light lens was restored as well. If anyone here does this, post them up. If you want to know what I did, then pm me as it would be too long to post here.

Hey guys, new to the forum ! so HELLO all Recently picked up a 2003 WR450, been SM coveted and love everything about me bike Only down side is i hate the rear tail light on the 03-06 models, much rather have the newer plastics, with the under tail headlight. I've been researching around and haven't found exactly the answers i need. I understand the rear sub frames are a bit different which means mounting holes are different. I found the UFO fenders are pretty much replicas which means they wont screw on. But i was curious as to whether or not the UFO plastics (with the integrated tail light) comes with wiring for it to work as a brake light as well. If any one has been able to put new plastic 07+ models onto older models 03-06 please guide me on your ways Photo of me bike and the rear tail piece im talking about

Hey guys, I am newer to riding and am looking into getting and CRF250L most likely 2016 or 2017. I was just wondering what all plastics will fit I can only find plastics labeled as CRF250 plastics will those fit?? Also what brands of aftermarket plastics do you recommend?

Just picked up a DT175 project, surprisingly it is a runner! But the compression is VERY weak so it's getting a new top end and several new bits. A few things that I really need but can't find is an air filter cage, the rubber exhaust mount (the forward one under the gas tank) and possibly a tach cable (Babbits said that they are "out of stock"). Can anyone out there help me out?

Hey guys, I just have a quick question about getting replacement plastic for a 2005 yz 125 that has the polisport restyle kit on it. Recently broke my wrist during a ride and messed up my front fender and one of the radiator shrouds. Looking to get replacements for em. I know you can buy polisport for the newer yz125's but my question is what year is the same as the polisport restyle, if they are the same at all. I think 2015+ is all the same but just making sure before i make the purchase. Let me know what I can buy. -
I recently bought a Yamaha 2017 YZ450FX and the plastics are pretty beat up, so I have to get new ones. I came across a set of the 2016 60th anniversary yellow plastics for the YZ450F. For the most part will these plastics fit on the FX they look bad ass. I want them, but cant find anything stating if they will fit?? Thank you -
I have a 98 xr250r, my airbox has been beat to all hell an back. While searching for a new one the only ones i can find for that yr are on ebay, used and in worse condition than mine. Is there another yr where the air box will match up with my bike so i can get a new oem one? my current one is so bad i cant even put my new plastics on because my airbox is missing the spots the plastics connect to. thank you in advance.

Hi, I have a 2006 Suzuki drz125/125L and I want to have new plastics, mainly black, are there any plastics from any other bike I can use? It's mostly just the radiator shrouds I can't find any that have a long line with it and need number plates, the number plates come only in white, I want a full out black plastic kit.

I have a can am renegade 800 and its plastics are getting pretty scratched up and discolored... aside from buying new plastics what are some ways to get the scratches out and make them look a bit newer? I'm thinking something along the lines of sanding and putting a clear coating on?

Hi everyone, I just recently picked up this 1981 Yamaha XT250 and I’ve been having trouble starting it. I kicked and kicked at least 30-50times. I am new to this as this is my first bike and would appreciate any advice for a newbie here. Common things I’ve check for/done already. 1) Spark is present 2) I took apart the carburetor and cleaned it. I have a rebuild kit en-route but it seem to be just fine as the float seems to work as intended which is not flooding. 2a) I tried using starter fluid to get the bike going but still no luck. 3) The bike has good compression 4) I have not check the timing valve clearances with a feeler gauge but could this be an issue? I visually inspected it and it doesn’t seem like there’s a huge noticeable gap. 5) I am missing the decompression cable. Could this be an issue. Please advise and Thanks!

I’m looking into flipping a 2001 yz250f (because it’s cheap.) and I wanted to make it look like a 2019 (or just newer). Is there anywhere that makes a restyle/update kit for something that old? There’s also a 2003 i’m looking at but it’s blown rather then just needs a valve adjustment. Would that be a better option?

Can someone please show me where I can buy front fork guards for my 07 crf 70? Please. The only ones close I have found are for an SSR. It says they will fit crf70, but tells you to make sure before ordering. And from the pictures they show, the bolting patterns look different???

So I have a 2009 rmz250 that I want to put 2010 plastics on. I know I can and how to rig up the front fender. But I want to know if the rest of the plastics need any rigging? Such as radiator shroud covers, side panels, rear fender.

Just bought an 09 te250 wondering if the UFO hukit609-999 plastic kit will fit ? Or if anyone know which kit will fit let me know . Thanks

I have a 2007 crf250r and one of the nuts in the gas tank to secure the right radiator shroud has stripped out but i cant find a replacement anywhere online. does anyone know where i can get one to replace it?

Does anybody out there ever tried to fit the 2013-2016 crf250 plastics onto a 1997-1999 first generation cr250r. I've known about the conversion to 2002-07 for a long time, but it requires a 2002-07 air box, which I can't find anywhere. The crf plastics on the other hand look like they go over the airbox and the bolt pattern might be similar. Anyone tried this? Pics would be phenomenal
