It's was a alrighbike. Didn't have to to much power. Pretty decent . Hauled ass pretty decent too.
  7. So I am thinking of getting a new bike. Currently I have a ttr-125, but I am out growing it. My friend is getting a KTM 250 (2stroke), so I am wondering about like a yz125 or a rm125 to get. I am 14, around 5'4", and about 125lbs. I know of the powerband in 2strokes from driving my (other) friend's 250 atv. Do you guys think this is TOO big of a jump or do you think I could handle the bike?

I have a great relationship with this bike. I can actually get it to go where I want it too along with do what I want it too. The same couldn't be said about the wife. She has a mind of her own and a temper to go with it. I can always count on my 1999 Suzuki RM125 to put a smile on my face thou.

Wonderful bike! Still needs a bit of work, leaks oil, gas, and coolant. But, this thing will start first kick every time and is a blast to ride!

My favorite bike yet! Fantastic suspension + handling and the motors finally set with all power on top. Just needed to play with the power valve a little. It has a fatty and powercore 2 aswell as Vforce 3 reeds. Tuned to my liking.

Best bike I've owned! Pretty stock for the most part, has excel rims, fresh plastics and graphics, protaper bars with Scott grips, engine is all wiseco with forged piston, silencer and pipe are both stock, gripper seat, nothing else really. Looks pretty good for a 14 year old bike I think!

  24. So, I got this rm 125 with the motor out of the frame, everything is there but the motor has absolutely not compression and cylinder damage. I would like to find a good air cooled enduro engine like a Honda Xr engine or a suzuki Dr engine. the bikes that those engines have to power are much much heavier than my rm frame, therefor it should be a little faster and handle more like a race bike with racebike suspension. what should I do? and how would I do it? I do NOT want another 125cc 2 stroke engine for this machine, anything bigger would work but they are fairly expensive. so a good Xr200 engine would be perfect if I could make it work. what do you guys think?
