    Great bike, the handling is second to none. The bolts seem to be pretty cheap but overall this has been a great bike for me!

    Typical 2004 RMZ....but I love it anyways. I've rebuilt the head. Replaced the Ti valves with Kibblewhite SS valves and springs, and had J&M Racing install new seats. So far, so good.

  14. Hey guys. I really want a 250f race bike. Im 14 and on a kx85 but getting to big. I was going to get a yz125 but my riding buddy just got hurt and cant ride for 4-5 months and i'll be riding rough trails with my dad who is on a quad, and at a track about once every other month. So i no longer want a 2smoker if im going to be going relatively slow. But also at times going fast and jumping, riding is mud ect. Which is why i want a 250f race bike. My price range is gunna be about $2,000. The thing scaring me/holding me back is if something breaks it will be costly. My dad has always worked on my bikes quads and our trucks so he should be able to do a full rebuild if needed. Basically what i want to know is -Is that enough to get me what i want - what bike should i look for - what do i need to check when purchasing - what do i need to do to keep it running strong and prevent things breaking or needing repair - and what is should maintenance cost me per year? Im looking to sell it when im 16 so i can have a downpayment on a truck till i get a job. Thanks guys its much appreciated Ring ding ding ding
  15. Hello I want to order a 2016 gearbox but I have a question. Does a rmz 250 2016 gearbox fit in a rmz 250 2015 engine ? because I have always have problems with the 15 gearbox and the 16 gearbox is much better i have ask 6 local dealers but they think it fits but nowone nows it for sure do anybody can help my ?   16. I'm just curious what everyone thinks. If so many of the top pro's really think the bike is the best (I think they do) then why is Suzuki struggling so bad to sell enough of them. I guess win on Sunday sell on Monday hasn't really worked out for them. How long do you think they'll be around?

    2012 RM-Z250 Engine Knocking Sound

    I got my bike pretty dirty so I hosed her down and like a retard got water in the air intake that even when it dried was very hard to start, but eventually did. When it started I didnt hear any knocking at that time, but I was probably too excited I got her to started I didnt even notice it. Hours later I took it to some sand pits rhode it for a few and my cousin pointed out the knocking sound. The bike showed no performance difference. Realizing my washing tactic was probably a rookie ass mistake I researched what happens when water gets into your engine. Followed recommendations of cycling oil through the engine 3-4 times looking for traces of milky oil or bubbles. I found both. by the 3rd oil change she was coming out clean, but was still making a knocking noise. Consulted with my mechanic friend and he put his BET on the the crank shaft bearings had gone. I say BET because I replaced both Top & Bottom End, and even installed a new clutch kit and re oiled her for the 4th time as well as an oil filter. I let him know $700 later the knocking is still there. So I asked him about the Valves, he said they were in spec. The knock sounds like it comes from the top. knocks 3 times, quick pause and comes back simultaneously. I researched problems tied to engine knock and found the following.... - Worn out Shims - too much space between buckets and cam lobes - Bad oil pump - Synthetic oil causes louder engine noises (I highly doubt) Does anyone have any idea what it could be or how reasonable these suggestions are? I can upload a video of bike running or anything else if needed. All help is appreciated, Thanks!!
