Modified suspension and chassis for road racing. Super fun bike, still some worries about reliability.

2006 RMZ 450 bogging right off idle

I've been riding dirt bikes my entire life....I've had 2 strokes, 4 strokes, all sizes, and most brands. The one brand I've never owned (for no particular reason) is Suzuki. But recently I was offered a deal that I couldn't pass up on a 2006 RMZ450. The deal was so good, I felt like something MUST be wrong with it. The day after I bought it (it was night time when I picked it up) I was curious as to how it would run, so I rode it around my yard a few times, to discover that it didn't idle just right, and it kinda spit and sputtered at certain RPMs. So I took it to my local shop to have it checked out. He cleaned the carb and rejetted it (went up one size on the pilot). Now the bike runs and idles perfectly, except when you blip the throttle from idle it bogs. I had an 06 and an 07 CRF250 that both did this same thing, and thanks to ThumperTalk, I was able to discover that this was an issue with those year model CRF250s..... so I guess that's what I'm trying to determine now, is this a common issue with the 06 Suzuki 450? And whether or not it is common, does anyone have any suggestions? I love the feel of this bike, it handles great, the ergonomics are perfect for me, I could really become a fan of yellow bikes, I just need to know it isn't going to bog on the face of a jump!!! Just to eliminate some questions, it has stock exhaust and stock air filter (yes it's clean).

Picked this RMZ up a fairly cheap. Picture is of bike before I tore it apart. Kid that had it never maintained it. In the process of going over the entire bike. Had it stripped right down to the frame, engine off. Rebuilt carb, new intake valves, new rear tire, all new wheel bearings, chain, sprockets. Should be running soon.

    Radiator fitting

just bought a new radiator for my 2005 rmz 450 and it does not match up to the one that is in there now from the previous owner. the new one has more hose attachments than the old one. i began to search for the correct fit and found that the 2006 rmz radiator looks to have the same hose mounts that mine currently has. would i be fine to put a 2006 radiator in my 2005 in terms of size, thanks

2013 RMZ-450 lets see your pics

the 2013 RMZ-450 have been out for a few months now guys lets see a few pics and mods of what you guys have done to them,
  18. Bought this 2012 RMZ 450 leftover about 2 months ago. Love the bike so far. Wanted to do a build thread on the bike but wanted to wait until I had most of the parts and the funds to continue building the bike. I will be including pics and a review of every part I add to the bike. It will not be an extremely fast build but I will continue adding parts until the bike is 100% set up for my liking. This will all be completed by the time race season starts back up. Here is the starting canvas. 0 hours on the bike ATM. Started out by completely stripping down the bike and greasing every bearing and seal, then proceeded to go over every nut and bolt with some blue loc-tite Wanted to ride the bike in stock form before I started adding mods and I must say that this turned out to be one of the best bikes I have ever ridden and I had not even started modding it at that point. Looking for suggestions and critiques along the way. Wanna hear suggestions on mods that will help, or add on parts that will improve the bike.
