This is honestly the best bike I have owned to date. And I have had a few! From CRF250X's to KDX200's and out of them all, this is by far the number one trail bike I have owned. Perfect power placement in the low end. Plenty of free mods to spice it up, and a sturdy frame that keeps you planted with the right amount of weight. 10/10 recommend!

DESCRIPTION New and Improved version! By far our best selling product, Our skid plates are made of rugged 3/16" aluminum. They feature tig welded engine guards. Installation is an easy bolt on procedure with all mounting hardware included! It also offers a built in clean out slot and oil plug hole, making them the best in the business! Plus it is a wiser choice than carbon fiber, due to lower cost and far better durability.

This lightweight yet extremely durable material replaces bulky aluminum skid plates and has our linkage guard built in. Slide over offroad obstacles, protect your linkage and destroy the competition.

Very light and nimble, great ergos, inspires confidence and makes you want to ride every day. The versatility of the bike is almost unbelievable considering it's only a 150. It has great low end grunt, a midrange that is all about maintaining traction, and a top end that will shock your buddies on bigger bikes. It can be ridden off the pipe with great effectiveness (especially helpful on those slippery days) or it can be ridden like a rocket on the pipe. It resists stalling as well as any bike I've ever owned...and I've owned a LOT! I get 3.5 hours of moderately hard riding per tank of fuel, so the range is among the best in the business. Now the bad news. As delivered the bike does have a couple of serious flaws, but they are easily fixed. The stock reed cage is junk. Replace it immediately with a V-force or Boyesen and you'll never have another worry. The progressive stock power valve spring is not well liked, and most guys replace it with the alternate straight-rate yellow spring. Some even prefer the red spring (from the 250/300's). Once you address the above items (and I recommend doing both before moving on to the next issue) you will still find that the jetting is horribly rich. This MUST be corrected early or you will be buying lots of spark plugs. Don't worry, the Mikuni is a great carb, it just needs to be jetted correctly. Once done you will be rewarded with phenomenal performance.

GENERAL INFORMATION A well designed skid plate protects the frame and engine cases while fitting closely. A composite molded product can take the exact shape desired. Aluminum products are fabricated from a relatively thick sheet metal plate and are welded to a shape which does not conform as well. Composite skid plates do not resonate sounds of impact as do aluminum skid plates. It depends on what materials, the number of layers, and resins used. E Line uses a composite of carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and resins. The use of Kevlar in skid plate manufacturer is unique to E Line. There is good reason Kevlar is the material of choice in manufacture of bullet proof vests, wear resistant gloves, and high impact resistant kayaks and canoes. Kevlar disperses impact, has a longer fatigue life, and has a greater tensile strength than about any other material including aluminum. It's possible, but improbable and would happen long after an aluminum skid plate had dented frame tubes or reshaped an engine case. E Line's Carbon/Kevlar skid plates will withstand many impacts with minimal cosmetic changes.
