  1. Has anyone run this chain before? Sunline SL1 Works Chain, non o ring gold plated, brand new I bought this chain a few years back at a swap meet and thought I would use it with a new set of sprockets on my 19 YZ250X, I am curious because I have always ran DID and I dont want to tighten the chain before every ride! Thanks!

Great bike awesome light like 250 but power to that of a 450 tractors when I need it to and bounces through the rocks with ease

Second bike first Honda couldn't be more pleased with the smaller bike

It has a very neutral chassis, turns very well but doesn't give much up in stability. The power is very linear and easy to use. If you wan't a hard-hitting 2 stroke, this isn't your bike. Even with the aggressive map switch and the powervalve adjuster turned in, it much more mellow than my Yz. Although the power may not be exciting, it's perfect for gnarly technical terrain. Stock forks were harsh on square-edge obstacles. The Pressure springs(small spring in the top of the fork) are known to be to stiff for most offroad riding. I had them changed out when the forks were revalved. E-start works flawlessly and starts the bike within a couple seconds when cold. Ergo's feel good to me...at 6'1", I was worried that it would feel to small to me, but that's not the case. The rear brake lever is a little low for most people, but I actually prefer it that way and it's adjustable anyway. Brakes themselves feel good, the front in particular is very strong. I don't feel they give up much to the Brembo's on the Ktm's. 40 hour update: replaced the stock rear tire within 20 hours and did the front at about the 35 hour point. I now have a tubliss front and rear, with a new rim in the front because of bad crash I had. In that crash, I also smashed the pipe, split a radiator hose, twisted both radiators, and popped the preload adjusters out of both forks. Beta fixed the forks free of charge, so no complaints there. Separate from that crash, the stock map switch is busted and I blew the fuse for the e-starter, although it blew in extremely wet conditions. The most likely culprit is the horn, it's a pretty common issue that's easy to fix. Also, the stock plastic is extremely brittle and easy to crack.

Like it so far! Esp after the stage 1 mods. Big difference and a lot more fun to ride.

The MSR 41Hundred Series Sprocket is the hardest, longest lasting sprocket in the world today. Made of 4100 series chromoly which is a blend of chromium and molybdenum along with manganese and nickel. It is extremely tough and wear resistant. Added to that they are heat treated to add extra hardness to the metal, through and through, not just on the surface, using the quench & tempered method. This is the same process used on the highest quality tools. A quality rear sprocket needs the best materials but it also needs the best manufacturing processes. The 41Hundred is cut by a Mazak Fiber Laser to a much finer degree of precision than most other cutting methods. The teeth themselves are shaped into a special double “U” shape that allows the chain to roll easier on and off for maximum horsepower transmission. Lastly the sprocket is nickel/chrome plated to help prevent corrosion and then laser etched. In the past you had to choose between a sprocket that was long lasting or lightweight. The 41Hundred is made from such a tough material that we can cut away far more excess material than other steel sprockets making it the lightest chromoly sprocket in the world. How light? A modern motocross bike’s rear wheel weighs just 2% more with our 41Hundred sprocket on it compared to having the lightest aluminum sprocket attached. And that aluminum sprocket wears out 3 to 4 times faster than our 41Hundred chromoly sprocket. • Lightest chromoly sprocket • Lasts 3 to 4 times longer than aluminum • Precision laser cut • 250,000 PSI tensile strength vs 90,000 in 7075 alum. • Average 50 tooth sprocket weighs just 1.3 pounds (590 grams) • One year guarantee against excessive wear • Made in USA http://www.msrhp.com/41hundred-series-sprockets/

DESCRIPTION The Supersprox-stealth sprocket is the only hybrid sprocket available for street, MX, Off Road and ATVs. We offer a full range for most modern motorcycles. It's a product that gives longer system life and a real financial savings. Supersprox-stealth sprockets last three times longer than an aluminum sprockets and are between 10-50% lighter than a steel sprocket (depending on model and tooth number). We guarantee that our sprockets will outlast, outperform and outshine the competition or your money back. Supersprox-stealth sprockets were developed for riding in extreme conditions where aluminum sprockets can't handle the torque delivered through the chain drive system. Supersprox engineers conceived and developed the combination of the two materials in the millennium year. Supersprox have counted 9 world titles since that time and 2005/06/07/09/10 Dakar wins. The Factory KTM rally team depends on Supersprox-stealth sprockets. It's the only sprocket with a lifetime guarantee. When you place an order for a Supersprox-stealth sprocket and chain kit (with sealed link chain), your Supersprox-stealth rear sprocket carries a lifetime guarantee, no matter the sport or bike. If your Supersprox-stealth sprocket gets worn you can ask for a FREE replacement.

Great bike! Tons of power! Suspension is great. Will need heavier spring rate if you are a larger rider. Experiment with gearing for better feel. GYTR tuner is a great investment. Love it!!

It's as dependable as an anvil and about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

Found a very clean bike with low hours. Best of all, it was already street legal as I'm an avid dual-sport rider.

So far, awesome machine! Changing out the 14t sprocket for a 13T makes a huge difference! Stock exhaust dropped 10 lbs off the bike and removing the rear fender/ lic plate assembly for a DRC Edge2 install dropped another 5 lbs and cleaned up the tail end quite nicely. Stock tires are find for light trail riding, but slippery hard pack or muddy conditions really show how a tire that does well on the street, makes for a lackluster woods tire. I have had this bike on technical terrain and the stock suspension has faired well. I am 190 lbs and the rear shock did require some addition of pre-load. Suspension upgrades are on the 'to do' list on down the trail.

What's the point of owning it if I can't give it 5 stars?! Seriously, I'm new to the dirt bike world. I've had a Harley, but never played in the dirt. I bought the bike and I'm completely going through it, and making it a dual sport and street legal. The only thing I won't touch is the motor for now, as it was just overhauled before I got it. I think this bike will have more power than I need and will put a smile on my face every time I ride her.
