    Fly Wheel Weight

Hey I am new to two strokes. I got a 2005 Suzuki Rm250 and love it, but it stalls easy at low speed or when I sit with the clutch in. I want to get a fly wheel weight to stop the stalling, but i do not want to take away the 2 stroke "hit" from it. What ounce weight should I use? I mostly ride trails with very little motocross.

Great bike...went from DRZ400e to smaller but great woods bike. Even held its own at Glamis, Imperial sand dunes. Smooth power for offroad, and after air/fuel upgrades even smoother and more responsive. Easier to start too!

Just rebuilt the YZ250 top end and suspension. Only has 1.1 hours on it after breaking in the new piston and rings. Runs great and I'm really looking forward to riding it this season.

Wish I bought a 250F years ago! Love this thing! I'm not a MX racer but a like light bikes for trail riding and the 250F works perfectly. The 250FX is probably where it's at, as this bike's gearing isn't quite wide enough for the fast/open stuff. Riding on some of the 2 track and roads near Moab UT I found myself pinned in 5th a lot. The suspension is great stock, the fork is a little on the stiff side for my liking but I'm swapping to lighter springs and will opt for a revalvle if it's still too harsh but for a MX bike it works really well as is on the trails.

It seems to have very good power and really easy to use power band with the modifications that we have. It definately needed more braking power which we addressed by installing an oversize front disc. Now we're working on getting the suspension dialed in for my son and after that it'll be pretty much "perfect" MX veapon :). Very light and nimble.

Best bike I've ever ridden hands down!!! Nothing bad to say other than it needs a tank and a skid plate to complete it as an "off road" bike but that's about it!

I use this bike for woods riding. This is the first bike I ever bought, and I was told it was used as a spare bike that didn't get ridden very much. I think he wasn't being truthful lol it rode great at first, brought a buddy that has ridden most of his life to check it out and it was in really great shape for the year. Spring of 2016 I put 30+ hours on it and did a lot of upgrades in between. I learned a lot about jetting, and worked really hard getting it all dialed in for peak performance. Ended up tearing the top end apart because I heard some noise that made me concerned. Found crank bearings were worn, con rod bearing had really bad side to side play, piston didn't look too bad but still wanted to replace, luckily cylinder was in good shape. I did a complete top and bottom rebuild with OEM parts. Kinda expensive but $800-$900 later-a lot of time, patience, and cleaning-and I have basically a new engine and all the tools to rebuild one again. Rebuilt carb, repacked silencer, new chain and sprockets, all at the same time. Around 12 hours since rebuild and it's running very strong, great power, and so much fun to ride. Still have a little carb work to do, need to go up a size or two on the pilot jet. Overall though the bike is a blast, people told me it was too much to start with but honestly I think it was perfect to start with, I'm certainly not a greatly skilled rider but it taught me a lot, and it made me progress a lot and quickly.

    Steahly Offroad flywheel weight

Increased flywheel mass/inertia provides smoother power Reduces the tendancy of the bike to stall at low RPMs Inertia increase allows for better traction on loose slippery terrain
