    XR650L for supermoto?

Hello everyone! I've done my research and still haven't found answers to my questions so here I am, posting my first topic. I'm 16yo and soon, I will have my motorcycle license! I've been riding mx bikes on tracks since I was 7yo (I'm now riding a 2006 450sx, great bike!) so I really want a supermoto to ride hard without being worried of crashing it. I am dreaming of a brand new KTM 500 exc but that ain't gonna happen. It would cost to much for me to own two high maintenance bikes and I'm not gonna give up on riding motocross. So I am currently looking for a bulletproof bike like a XR650L or a DR650. I prefer the XR because that it has more power for the same weight according to specs I've found on internet. I'm definetly going to put some 17'' wheels on it. Also, whe can't make a mx bike street legal in Québec, Canada. I want to know if the xr650l is a good supermoto and is going to pop some wheelies, do some jumps, some stoppies and a bit of offroad (on sm wheels/tires), even if I will mostly do street riding. Also, will it be able to ride at highway speeds occasionally? The bike will probably turn into a stunt bike gradually. Would the Dr650 be a better choice for any reason? Also, I'm 6 foot tall, 160 pounds so seat height is not a problem. I think I'm a ok mechanics and I can do pretty much everything myself on my mx bike. Thanks, I hope I didn't made too much mistakes since my first language is french!
