The trusted 2-stroke is exceedingly simple to manage and for 2020, features a host of new developments which enhance its class-leading performance. With electronic fuel injection, smooth power delivery and impressive torque and power, the TE 300i retains the traits it's become renowned for. However, with advancements to the frame and bodywork, it offers an even more controllable and thrilling ride. ENGINE The 300 cc 2-stroke engine in the TE 300i is the flagship of the Husqvarna Motorcycles enduro range. Featuring precisely positioned shaft arrangements for optimal mass centralisation, a counter balancer shaft reducing vibration, a twin-valve controlled power valve and electronic fuel injection, it is the benchmark when it comes to enduro performance. ENGINE Displacement 293.2 cm³ Design 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine Bore 72 mm Stroke 72 mm Starter Electric starter Transmission 6-speed Clutch Wet, DDS multi-disc clutch, Magura hydraulics EMS Continental EMS CO2 emissions 64.5 CYLINDER The 72 mm bore cylinder in the TE 300i features a twin valve-controlled power valve system which delivers smooth and controlled power throughout the RPM range. Exhaust port timing has been improved with the combination of an optimised, adjustable power valve drive. The cylinder also features two inlet positions at the rear of the cylinder where a pair of fuel injectors are mounted. This ensures efficient combustion resulting in reduced fuel consumption and emissions. CRANKCASES Designed for minimal weight, the die-cast crankcases on the TE 250i engine feature a thin-wall design. To centralise mass, the shaft arrangement has been precisely positioned to harness oscillating masses at the ideal centre of gravity. The counter balancer shaft is also specifically integrated, making for a compact design. Additionally, a new water pump casing improves cooling by optimising the flow of coolant. EXHAUST Tailored specifically for each model using an innovative 3D design process, the header pipe on the TE 300i offers further improvements in geometry and performance. This allows for improved ground clearance, while a corrugated surface makes the header pipe resistant to impact out on the trail. The muffler also features a new aluminium mounting bracket, new internals and less dense packing material for improved noise damping and weight saving. Rockstar Edition This bike rides like a dream, TPI is awesome and responsive. Still getting used to the 2 stroke after coming up on a 4 stroke. Only complaint is that stock suspension seems really soft compared to my 06 CRF 450X so I may have to adjust it soon. -

I'm in love with this bike. I've always been a 4t guy, and I've never been able to get into 2t. Recently, I was shopping around for a new bike to hit the trails with. I figured I'd give this bike a shot because it seemed to be the perfect bridge into the 2t world. The thing runs and rides smooth as butter, and adds simple quality of life gimmicks that actually are useful. Obviously with TPI there is no need to premix fuel, and FI means no jets to play with. So far, I have only explored the area around my home, but the bike gives me confidence that I've never had before. I have been climbing hills and riding through areas I never wanted to go near before. The suspension setup feels great as well. As this bike is a Husky, it comes with the linkage suspension which I really like quite a bit. The XPLOR forks have also treated my very well, and are likely the best forks I've felt yet. The trail computer that is installed on the bike can show you things like your average speed, trips, hours, and hours until required maintenance. The bike is brand new so there are no problems to report yet, and hoping it sticks to that trend. I'm well prepared to deal with 2t maintenance, so bring it on. I can't wait to bring this bike on some trails that are out of state. So far, I'm planning on adding a seat concepts seat and some wrap-around handguards. I'm also looking at grabbing some general protection things for the linkage and such. As of now, I have to give the bike a 5/5 because it is just that good. -
