  1. Curious question for the die hards or dedicated who frequent Walker Valley during the rainy months in the PNW. What have been your experiences, what trails should you avoid (I.e. Slippery brick sloped trails, deep puddles, flooding areas...). Also curious in what gear, equipment, tires do you either swap to during fall/winter or rely on more. Also are there any other trail systems other than walker that you use more during fall/winter (east Washington?) For ref: I started riding woods late spring, and new to the area.
  2. Hi all, I'm a new member, and recently got back on a bike after after taking a few years off.. Can someone recommend where I can find some trail riding near the Sanford area.
  3. Here’s a picture of my old and new Alpinestars. 25 years is a long time for boots so I bought a new pair of Alpinestars Tech 5s. In the second picture you can see the damage to what was a mint condition side cover. Both sides now look this way. I could go on about how much I love the old and hate the new but my question is, What boots will give me the feel I’m used to, not scratch my bike all up and have a sown-on sole, protect my feet. No ski boot types please, the tech 5s Make my foot go to sleep and I can’t feel anything. I ride woods, trails in Colorado with occasional MX track for fun. Want comfort for 50-80 miles of trails. I ride a Honda XR650L set up for 90 percent off road. Thanks
  4. Hey guys, I'm Moving from New Jersey to Florida soon. I will be living in Kissimmee Florida. I raced the ECEA enduro series up here and I am interested in getting to a series in Florida. I dont know of any spots to ride, I also wont have any buddies. If anyone is interested in linking up or telling me of any good places to ride please let me know. Thanks!
  5. I’ve got a complete 1975 TY175 that has been sitting in a garage for the last 25 years. I’ve recently got it running, perfect actually. There are some things held on with wire because I just wanted to get the thing running and ride it. It has minimal rust and has good tires. The thing is, I’ve never seen another TY175. What are they worth?
  6. Alright, so up behind my house I got a mountain full of trails to explore, but my dad won't let me go at it unless I have some sort of device that tracks my location and has the capability to send an emergency message in case I get hurt. I was wondering if there were any good GPS tracking devices that would have those functions? Thanks!
  7. I'm looking at a 04 WR250f to play on trails mostly. Some friends are telling me an XR would be easier to lug etc on the tight, slower stuff. Are they just Honda Honks? TIA Me: 6-3 190lbs 60 years young up in the Pacific Northwet.
